15 To build, operate & maintain the first high-speed, nationwide wireless broadband network dedicated to public safety February 2012 Signed into law January 2016 issued RFP May 2016 responses received November 2016 court injunction filed March 2017 hearing scheduled After vendor selection, draft state plans available within 6 months FirstNet hopes states review & have final plans within 3 months
