15 Link Provenance Information to RIF-CS Collection Record <relatedinfo type="provenance"> <title>nicta Provenance Access and Query Service</title> <identifier type="uri"> /service/provenance/search?entit y= <note>this provenance query results in a trail of provenance information of the collection.</note> </relatedinfo> To address the following limitations: Some data providers may not be able to publish metadata of all data collections and associated resources in a provenance chain to RDA. Some data providers have set-up a Provenance Access and Query service (PROV-AQ), which enables construction of a whole picture of provenance chain that involves a collection (or a service etc.) Usually up-to-date provenance information is kept in the data provider s provenance management system.

18 Summary Proposed a preliminary mapping between RIF-CS and PROV-O. Expanded RIF-CS vocabulary to link PROV to RIF-CS In future Consider new refinements of PROV-O to reflect expressiveness of RIF-CS (and other disciplinary metadata from ANDS partners). Look out for works on provenance report for human consumption.
