The first part is to provide an overview of discrete optimization techniques, focusing on their use in real industrial contexts. The second part aims at providing students with the necessary knowledge to develop and analyze simple but effective simulation models. At the end of the course, students will be able to participate effectively and collaborate with experts in support of advanced projects. In order to achieve this, students will learn the fundamental concepts of discrete event simulation.
