Enhanced Multi-functionality and Unbelievable Cost Performance The and the HVS-XT110, the newest additions to FOR-A s Hanabi series of portable video switchers, boast exceptional cost performance. The two devices inherit and improve upon the diverse functions and features of the popular HVS-300HS, including mixed HD/SD input, frame synchronizing, re-sizing engine, 2.5D wipe effects, DVE, keyer with chroma key and DSK. The and HVS-XT110 also have a built-in Web server that lets you change settings from a PC or tablet terminal. A clip memory feature has been newly added to the still store to support elaborate performances such as through the use of CG wipes, while the multi-viewer meets a diverse range of monitoring needs. The HVS-XT series comes in two models: one with separated main unit and control panel* 1 and one with compact, integrated design* 2. The equipment can be used in all types of locations, including live events, sports, news studios, broadcasting vans, editorial offices and presentation halls, making it the ideal tool for shaping the imaginative ideas of video creators. HVS-XT110 Integrated Main Unit/Control Panel Type Featuring operability almost on par with the, the HVS-XT110 also boasts a compact design enabling simple portability. The inclusion of ample video input and output functionality eliminates the need for expandability, making it ideal for use in small broadcasting vans and broadcasting helicopters. Despite being portable, a redundant power source is also possible using an optional AC adaptor.

It supports mixed HD/SD input in standard configuration. The 5 outputs, including one HDMI output, can be freely assigned. Three slots enable various inputs and outputs to be added, such as analog component, analog composite, HDMI, and VGA in addition to HD/SD-SDI. 12 Inputs; Outputs (HVS-XT110) 12 inputs and 6 outputs come as standard with HD/SD-SDI. 4 Main Features Frame Synchronizers (Standard) Each input in the and 8 inputs in the HVS-XT110 are fitted with a frame synchronizer that enables switching of asynchronous video signals. Installation of optional expansion cards supports asynchronous picture input from PCs, etc. Each input is also equipped with a process amplifier capable of adjusting the video level and chroma level, etc. of the input signal. Re-sizing Engine (Standard) A re-sizing engine (expansion) is provided on 4 of the inputs. This achieves a fully mixed SD/HD environment with a switcher alone, with no need to connect any external equipment such as an up-converter. This is readily suitable for re-sizing not only SD signals but also PC video. Event Memory and User Button The main unit is equipped with an event memory function allowing 100 events to be stored. It is possible to register events on a user button on the control panel and remote panel so that panel settings can be changed simply by pushing the user button. Users can freely set the transition time and effect for loading events. Since seamless transition of complex images to the recorded state is possible with a single button, it is suitable for live applications. You can freely register various switcher functions on the user button to customize the control panel in line with needs. Macro Function A macro function enables you to store and register a series of operations and then perform complicated operations with one push of a button. HD SD PC 2 Keyer and DSK (Standard) Allows Auto Re-sizing and Smooth Switching of SD and PC video The keyer has a chroma key function. Since the keyer and DSK each have free-assignable 2.5D DVE, scale effects (expansion, contraction) or other effects of the synthesized channel can be set individually. Freely Assignable DSK 2 DSK channels can be assigned to either PGM, PST or AUX. Supports not only M/E and P/P bus, but also AUX bus transition switching. As a result, when displaying videos on a separate monitor besides the main system, you can actively use AUX to expand the range of your production. External Interfaces External interfaces include the EDITOR port for connecting to an editor, GPI port supporting up to 24 inputs/outputs, RS-422 port for connecting an HVS-30RU, and an Ethernet port used during PC control. GUI Control Function An in-built Web server enables the settings of the and HVS-XT110 to be changed from a PC via a network. Mobile and tablet terminals can also be used through a wireless access point. Abundant Transitions and DVEs Cut, mix and wipe can be chosen for the transition. Diverse DVE wipes include D wipe patterns and page turn. Along with wipes, effects like mosaic and defocus are also provided. Hub GUI exclusively for PC 2 Still Stores (Standard) Video signals and PGM output can be captured as still images. You can achieve a CG wipe using data sent via Ethernet such as still data created on a PC or up to 480-frame video. Images can be uploaded and downloaded using the USB port. The still stores support JPEG, TGA and BMP file formats. A backup function means still image data can be stored in the main unit and retrieved after rebooting. 4/10/16 Split Multi Viewer (Standard) Display channels can be freely assigned, allowing assignment of not only input source but also PGM output. Output from HDMI is also possible without compromising the resolution of SD video and the image is displayed in the split view. Each channel offers title display and tally display functions. 3 4 Quad-Split Split Split Redundant Power Supply An optional redundant power supply unit enables doubling-up of power source (redundant AC adaptor for the HVS-XT110). An enlarged fan and improved exhaust process guarantee silent operation, making it ideal for installation near the control panel or in quiet environments.
