1 Overview Guest Users How to Use PwC Secure File Transfer PwC Secure File Transfer (SFT) is a service for transferring files between partners by using different protocols, conventions for naming files, and file formats. Use SFT for movement of large and high-volume file transfers, with end-to-end visibility of file movement in a process-oriented and highlyscalable framework. This framework alleviates file transfer challenges, such as protocol and file brokering, automation, and data security. SFT enables uploading and downloading of files, viewing the status of file transfers, choosing events to be notified about when the events occur and generating reports Files that are transferred to SFT are temporarily stored and are deleted after 14 days. Technical Support and Access Requests For technical support, please reach out to your PwC contact for SFT. Account Creation and Onboarding Your account creation request will be submitted on your behalf by your PwC contact for SFT. The following details are required: Name (First Last) User Id* Telephone Number Address (Internet ) Organization(Company) * User id should be a series of lowercase alphanumeric characters with no space, punctuation or special characters, and not ending in three digits

2 Guest User Account Workflow You will receive two separate s shortly after your SFT account is created. One contains your temporary password and the other details how to access SFT to accept terms and update your password. Once you have reset your password, SFT can be accessed directly using the URL provided: Accessing SFT You can access SFT using: Web: o Supported browsers are IE, Chrome and Fire Fox SFTP/SSH: sft.pwc.com port 22 Logging in You are required to complete the registration process within 30 days of receiving the enrollment . Once you have completed your enrollment, you can access SFT directly by visiting this link:

3 Uploading a File The SFT user interface is designed to be intuitive and easy-to-use. Follow the steps listed below to upload a file using SFT Web portal. Downloading a File Follow the steps listed below to download a file using SFT Web portal. 1. From SFT, click on the Upload Files tab. 2. Select the mailbox path where the file should be dropped off. 3. Enter the name and location of the file or browse to the file to be uploaded. 4. If you want to rename the file, enter the new file name. 5. Click Send. Note: Depending on the size of the file and the rate of transfer, you may have to wait for the file transfer to complete. 1. From SFT, click on the Download Files tab. 2. Select a file from the list of files. Only files you have permission to download are provided in the list. 3. Select whether to open or save the file. 4. To save the file, browse to the location for the file to be saved. Select the location and click Save. Note: During the file transfer, if you click Cancel, the transfer may or may not be stopped, depending on the size of the file and rate of transfer. Click Refresh to see if the file is still available for download

4 Searching for File Activity Generating Reports You can only view the activity of files you are the producer or consumer for. The events you can view for the file depend on whether you are the producer or the consumer. 1. On the Search Criteria tab, enter the basic search criteria. 2. For Producer, indicate if you want to search for activity related to files sent to you by a specific producer. 3. For Consumer, indicate if you want to search for activity related to files you sent to a specific consumer. 4. For Status, select Started, Succeeded, or Failed. Leave blank to search for routes with any status. 5. For Protocol, select from: FTP, SFTP, or In Mailbox. Use In Mailbox to search for routes that have not been retrieved. Leave this field blank to search for routes using any protocol. 6. For Original File Name, type the full or a portion of the file name of the file before processing. This field is casesensitive. Only those files containing the string you enter will be matched in the search. Leave this field blank to search for all file names. 7. Click Find to initiate the search. The Search Results tab opens and the Arrived File pane is displayed with results matching all of your criteria. A maximum of 1000 files is displayed. 8. If more than 1000 files match your criteria (or a different number set by your system administrator), a message is displayed indicating that you have more than 1000 matches and need to narrow your search. 9. Sort the results by clicking on any column header. Click the column header again to change from descending order to ascending order. Right-click on a column and select fields to turn columns off or on to focus on the details you are interested in To generate reports: 1. In SFT, click on the Reports tab. 2. Select the information you would like the report to contain. Leave any field blank to select all possible values. 3. Select Generate Report. Note: By default, reports only include the first 1000 activity records that match the specified criteria. Your System Administrator may set another value for the number of records to be included in reports. Subscribing to Notifications You can subscribe to certain events in SFT. When you subscribe to an event, a notification is sent in an to you whenever that event occurs, if you have permission on the event. Event permissions are managed by the System Administrator. Your user account must be configured with a valid address to receive notifications. To subscribe to events: 1. From the main menu, select Profile. 2. Select the Notifications tab. 3. Drag an event from the left pane to the right pane to enable notifications. Select Delivery Complete to receive notifications when files arrive for you to download. When an event that has been subscribed to occurs, an notification is sent to the address in your user account
