This extension is required to complete the recirculation of the subject draft. The draft is complete and ready for recirculation at this time and I am now waiting for any final comments from the negative voters before it is sent in for recirculation. When first balloted it had a 91% affirmative vote with 6 negative votes. The guide is extensive in size and covers a wide variety of machine tests. (103 pages covering 88 different tests) so there was an extensive amount of work involved to properly address the concerns listed on the negative ballots. This guide has gone through 9 revisions and over 110 changes have been made since first balloted. This work has involved collaboration with members of our working group, the negative voters and several additional people. It is felt that the present form of the draft addresses the concerns of the negative voters so we are confident that the recirculation will result in a total affirmative vote with no additional changes required. 6. This is an extensive document covering a full range of field testing for large rotating electric machines which has taken research, coordination, and input from many people. The document is now complete and has been submitted for balloting but it is estimated that that process will extend the work beyond the time limits of the existing PAR. This is especially true if any negative votes are cast. We feel that a one year extension should
