1 IATA TRAVEL AGENT User guide Passenger Head office and Branch location - online forms

2 IMPORTANT! In order to apply for the IATA accreditation, please check the following requirements: 1. Before you start the online application process: Make sure that you have the authorized signature to act on behalf of your company to apply for IATA Accreditation. Make sure to know who will be the Financial Assessment Contact for IATA - the employee appointed by your company who will be contacted by IATA for financial matters (e.g. annual financial reviews, financial security requirements, etc.) Make sure to know who will be the Portal Administrator for IATA the employee of your company who will manage the company s contacts, their accesses to IATA s products and services and communication with IATA. There could be more than one person fulfilling this role, as long as they are set-up accordingly. 2. Make sure to fill in answers for all the questions in the online application form (Section C) and upload all the required documentation. 3. You can save a draft of your online application at any point. However, make sure to resume and submit your online application within 2 weeks. Any missing documents or information can be added to your online application during this time frame (use Save draft and Leave option, Section C).

3 1. Go to and select IATA Customer Portal icon.

4 2. You will be taken to the Customer Portal ( Use the and password to login. If using Internet Explorer browser, please make sure to disable Compatibility Mode. For the steps to follow press here. For any other Internet Browsers there is no need for adjustments. If using a MAC computer, please make sure to use a different Internet Browser than Safari. If you are a new user, please go to the instructions section in this document - press here.

5 3. Go to IATA Accreditation 4. Select New Accreditation Application

6 5. Click on Next after making the below selections in Step A (form available in English, French and Spanish) depending on the type of application (New Head Office location or Branch Location). General Sales Agent - is an agent delegated by the airline as a general authority to represent it for purposes of overseeing sales in a defined territory.

7 6. Required country specific supporting documents and a link to the application guide are displayed in Step B for information purpose only. Press Next at the bottom of the page.

8 7. Application form is displayed in Step C. Widget on left hand side allows jumping from one section to another. Option Save draft and leave is also available the application could be maintained as a draft for two weeks, otherwise the accreditation process will need to be restarted.

9 8. Step C application form, section 1 refers to Legal status, online agency and parent company. Address from registration is prepopulated and editable in section 2 using Update Agency details button. Financial information has to be input in section 3. Full address - Please fill in the full address of the office for which application for approval is made (where airlines tickets will be issued) If an Invalid VAT Number error occurs, please note the system will still allow you to submit the application. In case the VAT is not applicable, please add as per the country VAT format.

10 9. Section 4.1 People: Click on Edit button to amend existing contact details or Add Person for a new one. Submit button will save input. Financial Assessment Contact - is the employee appointed by your company who will be contacted by IATA for financial matters (e.g. annual financial reviews, financial security requirements, etc.)

11 10. Click on Add Company if agency is owned by another entity, then fill in the information. Submit button will save input.

12 11. Ownership summary needs to add up to 100% in order to successfully submit the application.

13 12. Sections 5 and 6 refer to premises of location agency, future estimated sales and GDS contract. If also a Cargo Agent, introducing the code will pull up the account details.

16 15. Step E summarizes the information input and the Edit Section button will take applicant back to the respective section in Step C in case any adjustment is needed.

18 17. After ticking I agree, application can be submitted to IATA

19 18. Confirmation page indicates case number and a PDF copy of the application will be available at all times for future reference in the user account area.

20 19. On the Home page, under My Recent Cases you can see the application status.

21 20. If you click on the case number you will be taken to the case details. For further communication with IATA Agency Management representatives please use the Comments section. Whenever there is a new Comment reply, an notification will be sent to you. Login on the Portal to see the comment and reply back.

23 1. Go to IATA web Portal - and select New User 2. Add and captcha code, accept the Terms of Use conditions then press Next

24 3. Fill in the fields, those marked with * are mandatory, then press Next

25 4. Fill in the agency details, then press Search

26 5. Create a profile by selecting Create New Agency and fill in the fields. If you check the box Copy Billing Address to Shipping Address the information from mandatory fields will prepopulate to the Shipping Address area.

27 6. The process have been successfully finalized. Please check your in order to see the user name and password 7. The received from IATA Portal with the option to follow the link and login directly from . Please use the temporary password to login, then change to a new one

28 8. You will be now taken to the IATA home portal 9. To start the online application, please go back to the beginning of the guide press here

30 1. Open Internet Explorer and make sure to have menu bar available. If not available please press right click in the header of the window and select Menu Bar as per below snapshot 2. Select Tools and Compatibility View Settings as per below
