1 GOVERNMENT OF MAHARASTHRA LEGAL METROLOGY ORGANISATION USER MANUAL - LICENSE RENEWAL The On-line module of Vaidhmapan Application will help the user 1. To obtain his/her New Manufacturer / Dealer / Repairer Licences for the current year. 2. To obtain his/her New Package Commodities Registration Certificate (Manufacturer / Packer / Importer) 3. To renew his/her New Manufacturer / Dealer / Repairer Licences for the current year. 4. To make changes in his/her Licenses or Registration Certificates. 5. To register complaints and get updated results regarding them. Steps To Apply For License Renewal Is As Follow: 1. Please enter the Legal Metrology Website by clicking on below link %E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%AF- %E0%A4%AA%E0%A5%83%E0%A4%B7%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%A0

2 2. Click on LM Services link under Online Service Tab. 3. Click on Login tab in the newly opened window. Enter the username & password provided by SMS to each user s registered mobile number. NOTE: If SMS has not been received please contact concerned District Officer 4. Once you login, you will be greeted with HomePage Consisting of several links. Click on Apply For Renewal / Amendment of Licenses link

3 5. Click on Apply link under Apply for Renewal to open the next window:

4 6. Update the Mobile Number & Address If data displaying is old. Click on Apply button to open a new window. NOTE: If new window is not opening then please check the popup settings in your browser 7. Click on Fill Application button to open the application form, which displays the old license details. 8. Upload the recent photograph by clicking on Choose File button and select the photo and click on Photo Upload 9. Once the photo is uploaded, then click on Save Button to save the application form. NOTE: After saving the application the cross mark (x) with red colour next to Fill Application will change to tick mark ( ) with green colour confirming the successful saving of application

5 10. Next click on Upload Documents button to upload the mandatory necessary required documents. Click on Choose File button next to Document type to open a new window to select the document type and click on open button. Once all the documents are selected then click on Upload Button window to upload the selected documents. NOTE: All the documents to be uploaded should be in *.pdf format only.

6 Note: Once the documents are uploaded then an alert message will be displayed and cross mark (x) with red colour next to Upload Documents will change to tick mark ( ) with green colour confirming the successful uploading of documents. 11. Click on Preview button to look at the application form before submitting. If any changes are required then click on Fill Application and make changes. 12. Click on Submit button to submit the application for renewal of license. NOTE: Once the application is submitted then an alert message will be displayed consisting of Application Number & Officer name to which it has been submitted. Note down Application Number for future reference.

7 NOTE: The status of the application can be viewed in respective applicant login by clicking on Application Status button. Enter the Application Number and click on Search button. NOTE: Once the application is approved, then the applicant can be downloaded by clicking on Print Licenses link.

8 NOTE: If any Notifications has been sent by officer then an alert SMS will be sent to applicant registered mobile and also in respective online login. Click on Notification tab to view the notifications and if any Documents is asked for then click on Upload Document button to upload requested documents Steps To Make Payment Through GRAS Is As Follow 1. Visit the website 2. Login with username and password if registered or else click on Payment Without Registration button. 3. Select the department by entering the word Controller Of Legal Metrology. Click on Submit button 4. Enter the detail in the open window by selecting appropriate drop down menu (Issuing / Renewing Office) and click on Submit button. 5. Make payment as per selection. Once the challan is generated, save it for future reference.
