2 ALERT System Requirements ALERT SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Introduction This document describes the supported and certified hardware and software environment for the ALERT platform. If you have any questions about the requirements or the compatibility of your own environment with them, contact the DTCC Client Center. Message Interfaces The following apply to the message interfaces. Global Custodian Direct XML WebSphere Message Queue (MQ) interface Messaging Protocol IBM WebSphere Message Queue (MQ) Server, Version 6.x or later (DTCC recommends Version 7) Connection Security Backup 128 Kbps leased line from one of the following Internet providers: DTCC Smartnet, TNS, Verizon, or BT Radianz IBM Security kit, to enable the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Alternate ISP from a secondary telephone company Broker Dealer Direct XML Java interface Messaging Protocol ALERT Direct XML Broker Dealer messages Operating System Sun Solaris TM 10 or Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows 7 Library Files Development Library Parser Connection DCIWebSession1_1_6.jar file provided by Omgeo OmgeoDirectClientversion.jar file or sample code, supplied by Omgeo Java JDK 1.7 or later Any XML 1.0 conforming validating parser Secured Internet or 128 Kbps leased line from one of the following Internet providers: DTCC Smartnet, TNS, Verizon, or BT Radianz Browser-Based User Interface The following table applies to the browser-based user interface.
