2 Creating a Fundraiser 1. Click + Create Fundraiser in the left menu of your News Feed or Nonprofit page 2. Click + Create Fundraiser 3. Browse All nonprofits by category or select a specific nonprofit 1

3 4. Choose cover photo & fill in fundraiser details 5. Click Create *Please note that at this time, fundraisers are only available for individual profiles, or people. You will not be able to create a fundraiser when logged in as your organization's Page. 1

4 Finding Fundraisers for your Organization You ll find Fundraisers on the left navigation of your Page From there, you ll see all fundraisers created on behalf of your nonprofit To remove a fundraiser, click How to Remove a Fundraiser on the Fundraisers tab and follow the instructions accordingly. Please allow 48 hours for the request to be processed. To disable fundraisers, go to the Donation Settings page and check the box to opt out of Fundraisers. 2

5 How to access Reports Publishing Tools 1. Go to your nonprofit Page (as an Admin). 2. On the top of the page, click Publishing Tools.* 3. Then click Donations Settings. * If you do not see publishing tools, it means you are not an admin and will need to be added by a current admin. Note: Reports can only be downloaded from the past 90 days; we recommend pulling reports monthly or bi-monthly to save your data. 3

6 How to access Reports Donation Reports 1. Click on the button to Download Donation Reports 2. This will enable you to download both transaction and payout reports. Download Individual Donation Report 1. Click on the tab for Transaction Report. Here you can see the details about the funds you are receiving from fundraisers and the Donate button. 2. Set the date range you d like to view. Each day will issue a separate report with the details of the donations you've for each corresponding day. * Transaction report data updates every 24 hours. The current day s data appears on the following day. 4

7 How to access Reports Payout Details Facebook makes a bi-weekly wire transfer (ACH/direct deposit) to your organization s bank account after you accrue at least $100 in donations. If you don t accrue $100 in your payout period, the amount raised will roll over into the next two-week period until you accrue $100 in donations. Payouts are staggered on a 2-week lag, so funds raised from the 1st to the 15th of a given month will be paid out on the first day of the following month, while funds raised from the 15th to the end of the month will be paid on the 15th of the following month. Please note that there may be several days of processing time between when we initiate a payout and when the funds appear in your bank account. Download Payout Report 1. Return to Download Donation Reports in the Donations tab of Publishing Tools. 2. This will enable you to download both transaction and payout reports. * Payout reporting appears for the 15th (1st-15th) and 31st (16th-31st) of every month. 5

8 FAQs How will our organization be notified about fundraisers created on our behalf? You are notified in two ways: you'll receive a notification in Facebook and a weekly with updates. How can a nonprofit change the language on a fundraiser? You are notified in two ways: you'll receive a notification in Facebook and a weekly with updates. Can I see ended fundraisers? Yes. You can see ended Fundraisers in the Fundraisers tab on the left-side of your Page. To view details of the Fundraiser, Page Admin must download Transaction Report. Can I follow up with donors if they share their address? Where do I find the addresses? You can find addresses in your Transaction Report. You can follow up with a donor who has provided this information, but please be mindful of our Terms of Use as well as our Donor Data Policy when using donor's information provided by Facebook. We routinely mail physical tax documents at the end of the year. Can we get the donors physical address? No we do not gather the donor s physical address. Instead, after someone makes a donation to your nonprofit, a receipt is sent to the donor s primary address listed on their Facebook account. This receipt includes your organizations name, logo, mission statement and EIN, and it confirms that the user has made a donation as a charitable contribution and that they re not receiving any goods or services in return.
