I know the meaning of each one, but how do you have multiples of all those running at the same time? Can I run all three of my characters/toons that are on my one account - at the same time? I have two accounts with six characters. I'm running a trial of Eve Pilot until I get the complete hang of everything (which is starting to happen now, thank goodness), and I want to start running multiple bots. I run one account/bot on a Virtual Machine (VMWare), and I run the other account/bot on my laptop's main operating system. How do I have six miners running on Eve Pilot at the same time? Do I use VMs? Do I need six accounts or six characters? How many copies of Eve Online do I need per Eve Pilot? Do I have to buy six licenses of Eve Pilot? (that's pricey, geez) Posted by Tybin /01/25 20:29 For six miners mining at the same time you would need six eve accounts and six lic from macrolab. system will log in to all six accounts and run them at the same time you would have six windows open and running it auto switches between them. If you mine in high population systems or even some low population systems people will start to notice that your character is out there mining 23 hours a day 7 days a week, its more than is humanly possibly, they might eventually report you if you annoy them too much or if they just hate people that macro. There's a few ways to overcome this, I believe I saw you say that you have 2 accounts, one that mines and one to play the game. You basically have 2 options, have all 3 of your characters on your mining account trained up in mining, then you set each of you characters to mine for 7 hours each every day, 7 hours in one system is still a tad suspicious but you can then split each account to maybe move to another system at the 3.5 hour mark and then people that frequent one system or the other wont really find you suspicious. Or, you could just have your 1 account switch between a few systems every hour or 1 / 5

2 so. The people with like 12 accounts and 18 characters and 8 VM machines are just taking this concept to the next level, on a far bigger scale. I usually run 4 accounts in a deserted system, I'm doing okay for now but I defiantly don't want to get banned so I'm going to look into training some other characters up or switching systems a lot more often. Posted by iceicebaby /01/26 09:24 need advice on setting up 3 miner,my 1st 2 I have set to mine ICE which works well most of the time untill the patches come out. I tryed setting up a 3rd to mine ore,went through the 1st run and I set up my bookmarks the ship will go out to the belt and set their for 3 min with out doing any thing and log off then restart and log off. Ive check all my setting there the same as my other miners except it suppose to mine ore and not ICE settings. 2nd question can this program use mining drones? 3rd question will one make more on saleing raw ice or refining it and saleing that? I have definitely been very careful as to not over-mine more than humanly possible. I'm currently using the trial version of Eve Pilot, so it will only allow me to mine less than two hours at a time. This works out great for me, so I'm not looking like a bot. :) I plan to keep a two hour max mining time, and I also plan to start mining in multiple systems once I figure out everything. I am running across a new issue though. I recently installed VMWare, and I successfully had Eve Pilot running in a VM while having another Eve Pilot running on my regular laptop OS. However. I've spent the past 20+ hours attempting to create TWO VMs inside VMWare and having one Eve Pilot running on each, but every time I attempt to run both VMs with Eve on each... I get errors. Perhaps my graphics card cannot handle the VMs both running at the same time? But this doesn't make sense. I am able to run Eve Pilot in my main Windows 7 while running another Eve Pilot in a VM inside VMWare. The screen goes black and resets, and then I get the following error message: display driver stopped working and has recovered. This is something to do with Windows' Timeout Detection and Recovery. 4 tried delaying the TDR, and I have tried disabling the TDR. Neither fixes the problem. Any feedback? Help? Suggestions? Am I making any sense? I might create another post with the problem in the title, but I don't want to junk up the forums. Posted by raven /01/26 21:59 What is your Os, computer specs and what VM are you trying to install also the bot doesnt need to be ran in a VM for each miner you can run more then one with the bot. it will change screens on its own. I was considering trying out XP instead, as I've seen a few threads on the internet stating people didn't have TDR problems with XP. It appears Vist and 7 might be the culprit of the TDR issues.
