4 3 Note to Parent s and Guardians You can restrict use of the following features by selectin g (Parental Controls) from the Wii U Menu. Item Internet Browser Wii U Shopping Services Content Restricts the viewing of websites such as the official amiibo website. Restricts the purchase of content such as Virtual Console titles from Nintendo eshop. Access to this game (as well as other games) can also be restricted through the Game Rating item in Parental Controls.

5 4 Introduc tion Welcome to amiibo tap: Nintendo's Greatest Bits! In this software, you can use amiibo figures to unlock and enjoy playable classic scenes from NES and Super NES games in three-minutelong bursts. When you tap an amiibo to the NFC touchpoint ( ) on the Wii U GamePad controller for the first time within this software, that amiibo will receive a gift. This gift grants access to scenes from a particular NES or Super NES title. From then on, whenever you tap that amiibo within this software, a classic scene from the unlocked title will launch. Tap the amiibo again while a classic scene is playing to switch to a different classic scene from that game. To unlock additional titles, tap different amiibo within the software. Each consecutive amiibo will receive access to a different title as a gift. Please note that gift contents can't be changed. This software does not write any data to your amiibo. Even if your amiibo already contains data for another title, you can use it with this software without erasing any existing data. About amiibo This software suppor ts. You can use

6 compatible amiibo accessories by touching them to the NFC touchpoint ( ) on the Wii U GamePad controller. Using near-field communication (NFC), amiibo can connect to compatible software to open brandnew ways to interact with your favorite Nintendo games. If you cannot restore corrupted data for the amiibo, go to Wii U Menu System Setting s ( ) amiibo Settings and reset the data.

7 5 Ga meplay Instructions While a scene is being played, tap How to Play on the Wii U GamePad to access gamepla y instructions for that title. Please note that in order to access instructions, your system must be connected to the Internet. Supported Controllers This software can only be played using the Wii U GamePad. Limitations Please note that while the gameplay instructions for a featured title may include instructions to the contrary, while playing scenes within this software, it is not possible to do the following: Save your progress Connect a different controller, either for yourself or for the purposes of bring a second player into a game
