(1) CALL SETUP (2) DISCONNECT (Note) (3) RELEASE (4) RELEASE COMPLETE (5) INFORMATION (Note) (Note) A Generic notification is included when notifying the results of activation/deactivation request
2 22.5 Procedures Customer control procedure Activation/Deactivation request A Generic notification is used for notifying the results of activation/deactivation request Normal procedure User A may request activation/deactivation with sending the network a CALL SETUP including a Called party number or Keypad facility information established a special number. The network returns a PROGRESS INDICATION including a Progress indicator (#8:in-band signal, appropriate patterns available) after received the CALL SETUP. The network send User sends a Information request (information request indication #1: prompt for additional information, information type #0: undefined) and Generic notification (notification type #3: additional information request, notification identify value#7: indication code, auxiliary notification information (minimum digit:1:maximum digit: 1)) s in an INFORMATION, and requests to input indication code to User A. User A returns an INDICATION including a Keypad facility information established the content that is required by the network. When activation/deactivation request is succeeded, the network clears the call including Cause (#16: normal clear) and Generic notification (notification type#0: success indication, notification type#5: initiation/activation (Note1)) information s in the first for call clearing to User A, with notifying the success of activation/deactivation request in announcement. (Note1) [notification identify value#6: stop/complete] is included in requesting deactivation Quasi-normal procedure When activation/deactivation request is failed, the network clears the call including Cause and Generic notification s in the first for call clearing. (Note) Establishment of Cause and Generic notification s included in the first for call clearing is indicated in the followings. 1. Activation/deactivation failure not related to this information Cause value: according to cause of basic call control Generic notification: none 2. Activation/deactivation failure from non-subscribed user Cause value: #63 (other services and options not available, unspecified) Generic notification: type#1 (failure indication), identify value#6 (service not subscribed)
3 3. Application timer of information request is timed out for not returned information from User A after requested information from the network Cause value: #31 (other services and options not available, unspecified) Generic notification: type#1 (failure indication), identify value#11 (time over) 4. Input indication code digits error Cause value: #31 (other services and options not available, unspecified) Generic notification: type#1 (failure indication), identify value#4 (input information error) 5. Input indication code is the not offered code value Cause value: #1 (missing number) Generic notification: none Activation and Action Action of acting connect While User A activates this function, the network searches [Calling line identification not presentation reason] on each incoming call to User A. When the content of [Calling line identification not presentation reason] is user reject, returns a CONNECT to User B for User A, and demands to re-originate with sending announcement that [re-originate with sending calling line identification] on in-channel. And a call clearing procedure is initiated with sending a for [CALL CLEARING] including a Cause (#31: other normal class) on outchannel
