1 IXIA NET TOOL OPTIMIZER 5204 DATA SHEET SMALL ENTERPRISE NETWORK MONITORING SWITCH The Ixia Anue Net Tool Optimizer (NTO) 5204 is a cost effective network monitoring switch for networks that primarily require 1GE copper interfaces for network and security monitoring tools. It is well suited for small enterprises and is ideal in the lower speed portions of the network, such as the access layers, or where a large number of 1GE monitoring tools need access to network traffic. The Ixia Anue NTO 5204 has the same intuitive dragand-drop control panel that is used by the entire family of Ixia s 5200 Series, allowing complete configuration of the system. Changes in monitoring requirements are handled easily and do not require network change board approval because no additional physical connections are required. Software updates and licensing are performed quickly and efficiently through the same control panel. The Anue NTO 5204 includes two module slots to allow the addition of up to four additional 10GE ports using the Network Visibility Solutions 5200 Series expansion modules. Modules are available to support CX4, XFP and SFP+ interfaces. An available remote power supply offers a redundant power source for high availability configurations.
