5 Bridge Single point of entry for all of your Diver servers Users log in to Bridge, and can see all of their DivePort sites. Each button on bridge is defined by a DivePort URL. Access to each site is controlled at the DiveLine level.

6 Menu Portlet Familiar button navigation in DivePort Users see potential destinations based on their access rights. Each button in a menu portlet is defined by a page within the same DivePort. The properties of the button are based on the destination page. Security is controlled by the destination page.

You need to report numbers for a particular period of time If you want to show two different periods, you can t just dive If you want to show year to date numbers, you have to define to date Timeseries is a collection of features that enable the creation of columns that are filtered on time.

18 Anchor Date Define the TD in YTD Many timeseries types require the selection of an as of date In ProDiver s Timeseries Wizard, you have a few options In Spectre cplans, you have countless options (just write a calc) In Integrator, you generate a column of Anchor dates How do you want the user to control the Anchor date? Select a column where the start of the year is period 1

19 Options for Timeseries Build new columns filtered on time ProDiver Period Comparison: simple ad-hoc requests ProDiver Timeseries Wizard: more control over more columns Spectre Timeseries: cplan-level control of columns to be built. 29 Security in 7.0 Divide tasks between developers and administrators Users, groups, and user property values are maintained in server settings Access rules are maintained within the project The person who sets up users may not be the same person who develops the application Aim to have administration handled on the server settings side it should never be necessary to change the access rules.
