We have setup the re3gistry application in windows7 machine using the steps provided in the We have successfully setup the data exporter application and exported the Neutral example data given in the installation without any errors. Also, successfully setup the solr and indexed the exported data with solr. Apache and PHP are installed using XAMPP server and Apache and PHP , Apache Tomcat and java 1.8.0_102. Configured the apache and PHP based on the steps given in the above link. Setting up the APPLICATION_ROOT variable in config.php to exported custom data folder. Setting up the SEARCH_AUTOCOMPLETE_URL and SEARCH_CORE_URL in Setting up the valid log file for the web application. Added the serviceconfiguration.conf in apache extra folder and included in httpd.conf file Added the document root to the exported custom folder, the Alias and Directory permission tag to custom folder in the service conf file 06 Oct /5

The application pointing to the default URL After setting up the Apache and PHP while rendering the final application in the browser For URL it shows error 400 Improper request! 4 Dear Michael, Thank you for your feedback. I think the above post is a bit unclear (e.g. sometimes the Apache HTTPD logs and the Apache Tomcat logs are mixed probably because of the wrong interpretation of the copy paste by the Redmine wysiwyg editor). I'll try to answer your questions in any case (please feel free to ask it again if I'll not catch the points). 1) You said at the beginning that you successfully installed the Re3gistry Software (running under Apache Tomcat) and you also successfully exported the data files and solr indexes. Then, as I understoodd from the above post, you subsequently added the Solr lib (jars) in your tomcat lib folder and it broke the Re3gistry installation. This is strange because we are not directly including the solr jars in the Re3gistry's maven project (since this could generate some conflicts). I think that you should check your tomcat configurations because the main problem from your logs could be identifies here: org.apache.catalina.core.standardcontext startinternal SEVERE: One or more listeners failed to start. Full details will be found in the appropriate container log file There should be something in the configurations that prevent one or more listener to start properly. Maybe you can send us the complete Apache Tomcat log file, in order for us to better check this problem. 2) The second problem is related to the PHP webapp (running under Apache HTTPD) that uses the exported files to render the web service. Having a first look at the screenshot, a first suggestion is to check if the short open tags are enabled in the php.ini. Furthermore, related to the wrong request error, the included Apache HTTPD configuration file should be enough to get the webapp running without any further configuration. Kind regards, Daniele & the JRC registry team #2 05 Feb :13 pm Daniele Francioli Reported by Peter Jehle: I have an issue when installing the registry webapp. I get the following error in the php.log PHP Fatal error: Class 'Utilities' not found in F:\LieGeoApps\inspireregistry\staticizer\register\data\custom\webapp\core\components\common.inc.php on line 20 If I check the configuration in the common.inc.php the Utilities Class File exist an can be included. Any hint on how to solve this issue? Can you please try to enable the "short open tag" in the php.ini configuration.
