5 Screen Navigation and Grid Tools Introduction This supplemental User Pamphlet provides you with information to help you navigate the ISSI ULTRA Menus, Programs, processes, and maintenance screens as well as to use the new Application Links, Program tabs, and Grid tools. Use this pamphlet in conjunction with the following ISSI ULTRA user manuals: File Maintenance, Look-up, General Systems Reports, Remittance Processing, Accounting System, Annuity Fund Processing, Vacation System Processing, Defined Contribution Processing, Check Reconciliation, Claims Processing, Disability Processing, COBRA Processing, Eligibility Processing, or Pension Processing.

6 General Navigation Topics Logging In There is a specific process to enter the ISSI ULTRA system. Be sure to check your letter case when entering your User ID and Password. After you make connection to your network, double click on the ISSI ULTRA icon on your desktop. If you are unable to connect to your network or do not see the icon similar to the ISSI ULTRA Icon following:, contact your IT Manager. Upon double clicking the ISSI ULTRA icon you will see the ISSI ULTRA sign-on window appear as follows: Server User Name Password Server User Name Password Connect You should see a default address for your Fund s server. If you don t, contact your IT Manager. Do not change this setting. Type your User Name assigned to you in the User name field. The User Name is always lower case. Use the [Tab] key to move to the Password field. Type your Password in the Password field. The Password is case sensitive. Click on the Connect button upon entering your User Name and Password. This will display your Primary Window screen.

7 Cancel About Update If you choose to leave the system before entering when; for example, you realize you forgot your User Name or Password, click on the Cancel button. The ISSI ULTRA sign-on window will disappear. Click on this button to display the information about your version of the ISSI ULTRA software. Click on this button to begin updating your ISSI ULTRA software when applicable, in the event a new release is made available by ISSI. For assistance with this, please contact your IT Manager. ISSI ULTRA Primary Window Upon entering your Password, the system displays the ISSI ULTRA Primary Window. ULTRA can be customized to display your Fund s logo. The Primary Window consists of (from top down) the Windows Drop-down Menus, the Zoom field, the External Links and the Fly-Out Menu Tree. This central view indicated above, or Primary Window, is the location from which the user performs all operations within the ISSI ULTRA system. Database Dropdown Upon accessing the ISSI ULTRA Primary Window and clicking on the Fly-Out Menu Tree icon, notice the Database field:

8 Under your Fund s logo, see the following database field noted above. If your Fund uses more than one database you may have the ability to open two or more during one session. The following example shows two databases open accessing different Programs: In this example we have opened Participant Maintenance in the 15. Ultra Documentation Database and Participant Monthly History Maintenance in the 04. Ultra Documentation Database. The number of the database appears to the left on the Menu Program tabs indicated above. The ULTRA Application Header (the extreme top of the screen) also indicates the currently active database information. The blue indicator to the right of the SSN Field above also indicates the currently active database. Finally, the Menus Tree changes as you switch between databases.

9 Fly-Out Menu Tree You will see the following when you enter the ISSI ULTRA Primary Window: Find the Fly-Out Menu Tree icon at the top left of the primary window. Click on the icon and you will see the following Menu Tree slide out: The Menu Tree has slid out showing the Menus, the database you selected, and the Big Buttons at the

10 bottom which can be used to access subsidiary information. Next, click anywhere on the primary window and the Fly-Out Menu Tree slides back. When you click on a Program the Menu automatically slides away providing you the whole canvas of the primary window to hold your work. But you can click on the Menu icon at any time to start another Program. Whatever books icons (which indicate Menus) you previously opened will stay open. Menus The ISSI ULTRA Menus have a clean and clear look with Book Icons that open to reveal additional Programs. Notice the open book for the Remittance Processing Menu. This graphical representation provides you with a clear level of organization. The individual Programs have an arrow identifying them. Show All This button expands all books in the Menu. Close All This button closes all books in the Menu. Logical Program Groupings You will notice that the Programs within the ULTRA Menu Tree have been grouped for intuitive access. Right-Click on a Program Menu Item

11 When you Right-Click on a Program name, as shown above, you will be able to add the Program to your list of Favorites. Favorites are explained elsewhere in this documentation. If the Program is already a Favorite and you wish to delete it from the Favorites drop-down Menu, click on the Delete From Favorites item. Notice also the exe=wppart. The WPPART is the Program ID for Participant Maintenance. You may only need to know this incidental information if calling ISSI support. Click anywhere on the screen and the Dialogue Box disappears. Menu Programs Tabs When you click on a Program, for example, Participant Maintenance, as shown, you will see a clean opening screen for each Program. This example shows two Programs on the Menu Program Tab Bar: Participant Maintenance and Participant Mthly History Maint.. You may switch from one Menu Program to the other as needed by clicking on the Menu Program Tab. The one highlighted in white indicates the currently active Program. Remember the number in front of the Menu Tab Program Name indicates the database number from which that Program was selected. This number will only appear for Funds with multiple databases. Similar information is also shown on the upper right corner of the Program screen, highlighted in blue. For this example, the 15. Ultra Documentation Database is used. In this example below, there are many Programs open at one time:

12 Notice the arrow buttons to the right of the Menu Programs. Use these to scroll right or left to see Programs not visible on the Menu Program Tab Bar. These buttons are only highlighted when needed. Entering and Exiting a Program Entering a Program Generally you will enter a Program by selecting it from the Menu Tree as per the following example: Upon selecting Participant Maintenance or any Maintenance Program, you will see the Inquiry version of that Program as shown below:

13 Upon initially inquiring on the record, however, the full Maintenance functions are enabled: Menu Wizards You will see a Menu Wizard when you first open most Report Programs and some Maintenance Programs. The following example shows the Menu Wizard for Printing a Participant Name and Address Listing.

14 Choose a Task Return to Previous Menu Generally, these selections available on a Menu Wizard serve to better define the intended population and/or format for your report. Depending on the Program, after selecting the first choice, you may see other Menu Wizards continue to appear. Click on this Link if you wish to move back to the previously displayed Menu Wizard. If you press this button on the very first Menu Wizard, system exits the Program containing the Menu Wizard. Exiting a Program Depending on the type of Program, there can be a variety of ways to exit. Notice on the screen example above the icon at the bottom of the page. Clicking this icon will close the Program. The system will then move you to the previous Menu Program Tab (to the left of the recently closed Menu Program Tab). If there are no other Programs open, the Primary Window will display and the Menu Tree will automatically appear. You may also see the icon. This too may exit the Program and is primarily seen in Report Programs to accept the setting/options above and allow the user to select the Printer (Printing Functions). Another method of exiting a Maintenance Program is to enter through the primary field when empty. For our example above, in Participant Maintenance, simply hitting the [ENTER] key three times without entering data will exit the Program.

15 You will find this true for many other Maintenance Programs with different first entry fields.

16 Inside the Program Navigation Icons Using our example of the Participant Inquiry seen, notice the icons at the bottom of the window. Use these icons to assist you with processes related to the Program. Note: Each Program may have a different set of icons to assist you. This example and the list below provide you an explanation of the most common icons. We have already reviewed the EXIT & FINISH buttons. Here is a brief description of all Navigation Icons: Click on this icon to print a screen shot of what you are viewing on your monitor. The image prints on your default printer. Click on this item to Link to your Program. The system inserts the entity s address so you can send an directly to that person/employer. Click this icon to access the Add function to add a new record. Click this icon to access the Edit function to edit the record displayed. Click this icon to access the Delete function to delete the record displayed. Click this icon to access the Clear function to clear the record displayed and return the Program to its initial state. Click this icon to scroll back one record to the previous record.

17 Entry Screen Shortcuts Click this icon to scroll forward to the next record. Click this icon to close the Program. This icon is only displayed when editing or adding records. Click this icon to Save a new record or changes you have made to an existing record. This icon is only displayed when editing or adding records. Click on this icon if you wish to Cancel the changes you have made to a record. Any time you are at an entry screen, you may Right-Click on the initial field ( Soc Sec Nbr, Employer Number, etc.) to see a Dialogue Box window that provides you a variety of navigation aids and other tools. If you Right-Click while the cursor is floating over the Social Security Number field you will see the following Shortcut window appear:

18 Note: You will see the above shortcut window when you click on any key field, such as the Social Security Number or Employer Number. For other non-key fields you will see only the bottom three options: Cut, Copy, and Paste. On the Grids, explained elsewhere, you will see another Dialogue Box for the Grid Options. Full Screen Help (F6) Help (F1) Repeat SSN (F4) UID Lookup (F5) SSN Last-4 Lookup (F9) Dependent SSN Lookup (F7) Exit SSN Back Field (F2) Command (F10) This search function displays the Last Name field in a new window. The user can then enter the starting point at which to begin the search. Utilizing the [F6] Function key will also display this window. Function keys are further described below. This function provides a single line Help facility for locating a participant. Note: [F1] key can also be used to trigger this function. This is a memory redial function. Any time you enter a Social Security Number, the system remembers the last entry. When accessing another screen within the system, clicking on the Repeat SSN function while in the Social Security Number field will insert the last number used. Note: [F4] key can also be used to trigger this function. Click on this option and the following field opens adjacent to the SSN field. Enter the Unique ID Number for this participant to view the record. Note: [F5] key can also be used to trigger this function. This option allows you to search by only the last four digits of the SSN, as shown: Enter the last four digits and you will see a list of all participants whose SSNs end with those four digits. Note: [F9] key can also be used to trigger this function. Clicking on this option opens the Dependent look-up screen. You may then enter the dependent Social Security Number or Surname. Note: [F7] key can also be used to trigger this function. Any time you are in the Social Security Number field on any Maintenance Program, click the Exit SSN option to exit the field and exit the Maintenance Program. This saves you from pressing the [RETURN] key three times or exiting using another method. Click on the Back Field option when you wish to move to the previous field on a form entry. Note: [F2] key can also be used to trigger this function. Any time you see a message asking you to press the Command Function key you

19 Cut Copy Paste may click on this Menu item instead. Note: [F10] key can also be used to trigger this function. Use this option to move data from one field to another. Cut removes the data, so you can paste it to another location. Use this option to copy data from one field to another. Use this option of paste data from a source field after using the copy or cut option to the recipient field. Expanded explanations of some of the above functions appear below. Function Keys Using the [F1] Help key Use the [F1] key to find the key field data to access a record within the system. For example, you want to maintain a participant s address. If you do not know the participant's Social Security Number, use the [F1] key to search using the participant s name. Hit the [F1] key. A field opens for you to fill in the last name or any of the beginning letters of the last name. If you enter the first few letters of the name, the system will start displaying those names beginning with the letters you entered. Enter the first name. If you do not enter a first name, you will see the first instance of everyone in the database with the last name you entered. One at a time, the system lists all the participants that match the name you entered in a Dialogue Box window on the screen. Choose this option and the system scrolls through the names in alphabetic sequence. Yes Continue pressing the Y key or clicking on the YES button until you see the participant No you want. Click on this option when you see the record you want. This allows you to select a participant's Social Security Number. The system takes you back to the Social Security Number field. You will see the Social Security Number you selected. In some cases, you may be required to use the <ENTER> key to inquire on the desired record. This functionality will also work with Employer Numbers, Provider Numbers or a variety of other codes or numbers. Using the [F2] Back Field key Hit the [F2] key to move to the previous screen. Or, when in a maintenance Program, use it to move back one entry field. Alternatively, when you are in a Social Security Number field or a Date Field, you can backup within the field to make input corrections. Using the [F4] Repeat SSN key

20 You may use this function key to repeat data field information, such as the Social Security, Vendor, Provider, Doctor or Hospital numbers. Press the [F4] key and the Social Security Number you last used appears. This saves time doing repeated lookups. Using the [F6] Full Screen Help key This provides similar functionality as the [F1] key, with the primary difference being the results are displayed in a full screen Data Grid, as opposed to a single result at a time. Hit the [F6] key. Upon seeing the name field open on the screen, fill in the last name or any of the beginning letters of the last name. If you enter the first few letters of the name, the system will start displaying those names beginning with the letters you entered. Enter the first name. If you do not enter a first name, you will see a list of everyone in the database with the last name you entered. The system lists in alphabetical order all participants whose last name matches as close as possible to the last name or partial last name you entered. By Left-Clicking on a given row of the Grid the Participant Maintenance screen will instantly accept that SSN and display its information for that record. Application Links Another ISSI ULTRA feature is the use of Application Links in many Maintenance Programs. Using Participant Maintenance as an example, enter the Social Security Number to inquire for a participant and you will see the following screen:

21 Notice the Application Links along the left side of the screen. Clicking on a Link opens the associated Program which references supplemental information for this participant. For example, if you wish to see any comments associated with this participant, or view dependent records or check on the participant s eligibility, you can open those Programs from this screen. This saves you from using the Menu Tree to access this information. When you exit a Program that has been accessed through an Application Link, the system brings you back to the original Program you Linked from (i.e. Participant Maintenance in the example above). The Application Links change per the needs of the Maintenance Program. For example, when running Employer Maintenance in the Remittance Processing module you will see the following Application Links:

22 More detailed explanation for the Application Links for each Maintenance Program will be provided within the documentation for the corresponding Module. Program Tabs Using the Participant Maintenance Program as an example, notice the Program tabs between the participant s header information and the data fields:

23 In this example, the default inquiry screen uses the Census Tab. Program tabs break up the Maintenance Program into functional segments. The Census Tab for any Program that collects information on an entity, whether it is a participant, employer, provider, local, etc., will contain similar information. An example is the Census Tab in Employer Maintenance: Specific information collected may be different because of the entity, but it is of the same general theme. Note: not all Program tabs display in this format. Some Program tabs display Grids which are described elsewhere in this document. An example is the Dependents Program Tab within the Participant Maintenance Program:

24 Data Grids General Explanation Grids are data spreadsheets you can use to display, select, export and print data from the various ISSI ULTRA Programs. An example is the Dependents Program Tab within the Participant Maintenance Program: The information displayed on the Grid is Dependent data for the Participant.

25 Another method of creating Grids is by running report Programs and printing to Grid (See Printing Functions for more information concerning the Enter Printer: field shown below. Running a report to Grid will display in table format as shown below: The above examples define the ISSI ULTRA Data Grid. From those screens you can utilize a variety of functions to access a segment of records or fields, sort them to your needs and print, save or export them in the desired format. Sort on Grid Headers Like Microsoft Excel, you can sort on the headers of the Grid by simply Left-Clicking the column header. Continuing with our example above, you can see that the fields are currently sorted by the Employer Number. If you wish to sort the fields on the Grid by Employer Name, click on the header name Employer Name. You will see the screen change as follows:

26 If you wish to sort the fields on the Grid by City, click on the header name City. You will see the screen change as follows: Notice that the first record on the Grid has the City Aledo. If you were to click on the City header again, the City column would reverse the sort based on reverse alphabetical order. Use this tool to find data or print the Grid in any order you wish. Other Grid Options Continuing with our example shown above, you may Right-Click anywhere on the Grid and see the following Grid Options appear on the screen:

27 Export Use this option to export the Grid to a file. You will see a window similar the following appear on the screen: Enter a name and destination folder for the file. It will automatically have a.csv file extension. Filter Click on Filter and you will see the following prompt appear on your screen: This is a search function which matches the string entered against the entire data Grid. It is not columnspecific. Query Click on Query and you will see the following prompt appear on your screen: A Query as compared to a Filter is a request you ask the database. You can use these general rules and Conditional Statements when utilizing the Query function: Subject As a general rule, any Query must reference at least one Column on the Grid. This

28 is known as the Subject. The syntax for properly referencing a Column is as follows: HEADER_NAME or header_name. Example To reference the Employer Name column in the Employer Name and Address Listing Grid shown below, the Query must reference EMPLOYER_NAME or employer_name. Capitalization does not matter, however any SPACES contained in the Column Name must be represented by underscores. Once the Subject has been defined, the Query must know what to do with it. To instruct the Grid properly, we must use a function known as an Operator to achieve this. The table below contains a sample of common Operators: Operator Operand The object of the Query, which is the item on the receiving end of the Operator, is known as the Operand. This is usually a number/date or a word or phrase. The format of the Operand must match the format of the Subject. In general, there are two possible formats: Numerical Format Data fields that are strictly numbers (this does include dates) are Numerical fields. When referencing Numerical fields within a Query, the use of quotation marks is not necessary. Note: When referencing DATES, the format must always be YYYYMMDD. The data in the Column will be in Date Format only when the word DATE appears in the Column Header. Otherwise, the data in the Column will be in General/Alphanumeric Format, which is described in the next bullet point.

29 General/Alphanumeric Format Data fields that are not strictly numbers are technically alphanumeric fields, but for purposes of this documentation we ll refer to these as General fields. When referencing General fields within a Query, the use of quotation marks is required and the data within those quotation marks must be identical to the data shown in the Grid. In our example Grid above, let s say we want to limit our Grid to the first Employer listed. This is 3-D CONCRETE INC.. It s also Employer Number So we have two options which will both result in only the first row of our Grid being displayed: Example Queries Show All Click on this option and the Grid will reset to its original state: prior to any field/record manipulation..pdf This is a powerful function which provides you with a file of the Grid in a common report format. Upon clicking on the.pdf Dialogue Box option you will see the following screen, using our example of an Employer Name and Address Listing:

30 This is a portrayal of the Grid as a.pdf document which can be used accordingly. See the help for Adobe Reader if you wish to learn about the additional functions within the.pdf display. Here we ll define the most common.pdf functions you will most likely use. Print Click on the icon at the top of the page to print the Grid. You will see your print window appear for your Fund s printer. Click on OK to print the Grid on your Fund s printer. Save Use this function to save the.pdf onto your hard drive for future use. NOTE: The ability to Export a Grid into a.csv file and the ability to save the Grid as a.pdf file will both respect any Sorting, Hiding, Filtering or Querying performed on the Grid up to that point. Hide Column Right-Click on the Column or Column Header you wish to hide and Left-Click on this option and the column disappears. Show All Columns Use this option if you had hidden a column using the Hide Column option above. Clicking on this option will display all the columns of the Grid.

31 Additional ULTRA Functions Changing Tab Information Note: This function is limited to ISSI personnel by default. Access to this function can be granted to Administrative personnel on an as needed basis; however further discussion with your Client Service Representative is strongly encouraged. By Right-Clicking on some Program tabs, the system will allow the user to manipulate the display of the given Tab: Notice the following window on the screen:

32 Here you will see information for the Tab you accessed: The Program ID, the Tab Name, the order of the Tab from left to right and whether the Tab has a special Sub Program (Contact your Client Service Representative for more information concerning Program Tab Sub Programs). The explanation for Program tabs within each Maintenance Program will be provided within the documentation for that module. Program Fields Again using the participant example above, notice the following window on the screen: Note: All fields associated with the database maintained by this Program (i.e. Participant Maintenance) are displayed in the Grid. Field Label Here you may change the name of the field. This does not affect the processing of the Program using this field, but changes the name of the field on as it displays on the Maintenance Program screen. Display Y N Choose this option to display the field on the Program Tab. Choose this option if you do not wish to see the field on the Program Tab. Order This is the order the field appears on the Program Tab from top to bottom. You may change the order of the fields. Required

33 If left blank the option defaults to NO. Y Choose this option if this is a required field. N Choose this option if the field is not required. View Only If left blank the option defaults to NO. Choose this option if you wish prevent changes to this field. This provides a measure of Y security for sensitive fields which only can be maintained by certain Fund personnel. N Choose this option if you wish to allow changes to the field. Hover You may enter a field description that will appear on the Maintenance Program screen when hovering the cursor over the field. When you are finished making change to the fields, click on the icon to save the changes. The system moves you back to the original maintenance screen, in our example, the Participant Maintenance screen. Printing Functions Usually you will see the following field open at the bottom left of a screen when you have completed entering the print options for a Report Program: Note: this functionality can be customized for each username per Fund s various printers. If you need to see what printers are available to you, use your mouse to click the drop down arrow next to the printer box (as shown above) and the available printer options will be displayed. For example, you may see the following printer options: Disk You can save the output to disk, to print or view later. View You can view the output on the screen instead of printing it on paper. LP01 These options simulate your network printers. Your system s printers will be labeled as LP## from LP01 through LP99, however, Printer Descriptions may be added for each of those options to assist in identifying the correct printer to use..pdf Use this option to generate the output as a.pdf document. EXCEL Use this option to generate the output as a.csv document and to automatically open it in Microsoft Excel. Word Use this option to generate the output as a.doc document and to automatically open it in Microsoft Word. GRID Use this option to generate the output as a GRID on your screen. Exit Use this option to cancel the process without generating an output of any kind. NOTE:

34 Use the [F10] key to get the same result. Dialogue Boxes During the processing of various Programs, you will see a variety of Dialogue Boxes appear that require user response. For example, you may see a Dialogue Box appear when you have finished adding an Employer record: For this example, the user must physically Left-Click on either button OR uses the Keyboard and type the letter that is underlined. Typing the [ENTER] or [SPACE] keys will not work in this scenario. Other examples simply require acknowledgement by the user and therefore offer no choice of buttons: Notice how the button is highlighted slightly. This indicates that the user can use the Keyboard and type either the [ENTER] or [SPACE] keys to accept the prompt. The user still has the option of typing the underlined letter or Left-Clicking the button. Comments Windows You have the option of maintaining different sets of comments within a variety of Maintenance Programs. When applicable, either after adding or editing a Maintenance record or by clicking a Comments Application Link, you may see the following Dialogue Box appear on the screen: If you are changing or adding to an existing comment to a record, you will see following Dialogue Box: For this example we will use the Add Comments option, shown above. Click this option if you wish to add a comment Linked to the record. You will see the Yes following window appear:

35 Comments Field F1 Insert F2 Previous F3 Delete F9 Warning Type your free-form comment to this comments screen. Use this button to insert a line of text between existing lines. Position the cursor at the beginning of the line below the one you wish to insert. NOTE: As the image indicates, the [F1] function key may be used for this function. Hit this button to move to the previous line from your current line. Hit this button to delete the current line. Use the Warning button to display a comment in red lettering which will be highlighted upon future inquiry. You must hit the warning key again to turn off this function. Use this key to end the editing of existing comments. You may see the following Dialogue Box to verify that you wish to save the comments: F10 End Edit Yes Choose this option to save the comments. You may see the following Dialogue Box floating on the screen:

36 Yes No Choose this option to go back to the Comments Window and continue adding comments. Choose this option to end the comment edit process. The system moves you back to the original Maintenance Program. No Choose this option and the comments are not saved and the system moves you back to the original maintenance Program. No Click this option to skip the comments maintenance screen.

37 Additional Screen Functions & Options Windows Drop-Down Menu Bar The Windows Drop-Down Menu Bar is located at the top of the screen. You should see a Drop-Down Menu Bar similar to the following: The Drop-Down Menu Bar provides a variety of drop-down Menus you can use to assist with your assigned tasks. File Drop-Down The File drop-down Menu allows you to start a new session of the software, as well as log-in in Native Mode to perform administrative command line functions. You may also disconnect from the system (if the initial exit method (described elsewhere) does not function). Edit Drop-Down The Edit drop-down Menu allows you to Copy and Paste information from the screen. View Drop-Down The View drop-down Menu allows you to change the way you view the screen. Reports Drop-Down The Reports drop-down Menu allows you to Show, Print, Delete and List the reports that have been previously saved to disk. Letters Drop-Down The Letters drop-down Menu allows you to Edit, Show, Print, Delete and List the letters files which are stored on the system and used by various Programs. Links Drop-Down The Links drop-down Menu assists you in finding helpful Internet sites and contains other miscellaneous items. Menus Drop-Down The Menus drop-down Menu provides an alternative method of accessing Programs. The Menu Tree is the primary method. Favorites Drop-down The Favorites drop-down Menu stores your previously selected favorite Programs, which you use most often, for quicker access. Admin Drop-down The Admin drop-down Menu contains administrative functions which should only be used when directed by ISSI personnel. Help Drop-Down The Help drop-down Menu provides you the ability to request assistance from ISSI, look up various software related information, and perform print-screens. File New Session Command Use this Menu item if you wish to start another session of the ISSI ULTRA software. Use of this function is not encouraged as the user can achieve the same results from the Menu Program tabs on the Primary Window. This function is used to access administrative and operating system tools not

38 Prompt Exit available through the Menu Tree. This option is password protected and only used by authorized personnel. Use the Exit Menu item to exit the ISSI ULTRA software ONLY if the primary exit method (described elsewhere) is not available. Edit Mark Select All Copy Copy Data Use this option to highlight selected text on the Primary Window. Click to select all text on the Primary Window. Click to copy text you have highlighted using the Mark item or selected using the Select All item. Click to copy only the text displayed within the individual Data Fields highlighted using the Mark or Select All functions. This function does not also copy the Field Labels highlighted. View To activate or de-activate any of the options within this Drop-Down Menu, Left-Click on the option to show or remove the check mark. Split Pane This option will split the Primary Window in order to view two Programs side-byside. As shown on the following example:

39 Status Bar Zoom Bar Here we see two instances of the Participant Maintenance Program. You may switch between Programs simply by clicking on the respective window. Also notice the Fund headers at the top of each Primary Window. The Split Pane functionality will also work across multiple databases where applicable. Each number that precedes the Fund name will indicate the database that Primary Window is in. Above, both Primary Windows are in Database 05. The Status bar is along the bottom of the screen, showing Ready at the bottom left and the date and time at the lower right of the screen. Click this off to see more of the Primary Window. The Zoom bar is located below the Windows Drop-Down Menu bar at the top of screen, but can be dragged anywhere. The default is to see the Zoom bar. You have the option of clicking it off to use more of your screen, or dragging it to a more convenient location. ISSI recommends selecting the Fit to Screen option. Click on this toggle item to turn off the Menu Numbers on the Menu Wizard windows. (Note: you will still be able to enter a number when viewing a Menu Wizard to select the proper option). Changing this setting will not affect currently open Menu Wizards. Menu Numbers Field Number Style The Field Numbers function will number each field on the screen when turned on. The recommended setting is off. Click on this drop-down Menu item to display the Styles option. You will see the following Dialogue Box appear:

40 Themed Styles Click on the down arrow to the right of the field to see those styles available. Default (ULTRA) is recommended, but you can set this to your color scheme preference. Click on this drop-down Menu item to display the Themed Styles. Themed Styles are temporary color and graphical overlays that ISSI ULTRA will employ throughout the year. An example is a Spring theme which is only active for a few days in March. The option is turned on by default, but, if you do not want Themed Styles to become active during the year, you can click this option off. This option toggles on and off the three Big Buttons at the bottom of the Fly-Out Menu Tree. The default displays the big buttons. Show Big Buttons Show Start Page The Start page button opens the start page of the ISSI web site in the Primary Window. This provides a screen showing the contact information for ISSI. You may also need this page if you contact ISSI Support and they wish to access your system using a Support Session. Click on the button again to close the ISSI web site. ISSI ULTRA will remember your setting the next time you log in. ISSI Documentation displays the on-line version of this documentation. The home page opens your internet browser to the ISSI Web site (the web site used can be customized). This option is identical to the Start Page Bug Button described above.

Upon entering a report name you will see the report open automatically in PDF format. Clicking on this Menu item provides a screen that prompts you for the report name similar to the Show Report screen shown above. Enter the report name you wish to print, followed by the Printer and the system generates the report. Clicking on this Menu item provides a screen that prompts you for the report name similar to the Show Report screen shown above. Enter the report name you wish to delete from the list of reports. Click on this item and you will see a window displaying all the reports that have been previously created and saved to DISK via ISSI ULTRA. Upon selecting the report from the GRID, you will see the report open automatically in PDF format.

42 Letters Click on the Letters Menu item and the system displays the drop-down Menu as follows: Clicking on this Menu item provides a screen that prompts you to enter the path and letter name as shown: Edit Letter Show Letter Delete Letter List Letters Print Letter The letter will appear in edit mode so you can make changes to the standard template format or verbiage. Using this feature is not recommended and ISSI strongly encourages you to discuss this functionality with your Client Service Representative. Clicking on this Menu item provides a screen that prompts you for the letter name similar to the Edit Letter Menu item screen. Enter the letter name you wish to view and the system displays the letter on the screen, without any dynamic information (i.e. Member name, date, etc.). Clicking on this Menu item provides a screen that prompts you for the letter name similar to the Edit Letter Menu item screen shown above. Enter the letter name you wish to delete from the list of letters. This feature should be used with discretion. ISSI strongly encourages you to discuss this functionality with your Client Service Representative. Click on this item and you will see a window displaying all the letters on file. This is similar to the List Reports function. Clicking on this Menu item provides a screen that prompts you for the letter name similar to the Edit Letters screen shown above. Enter the Letter name you wish to print and the system generates the letter, without any dynamic information (i.e. Member name, date, etc.), to the printer you ve selected. Links Click on the Links Menu item and the system displays the drop-down Menu as follows:

The system will insert the send to address so you can send directly to ISSI Support. Menus Click on the Menus Menu item to see the down-down detail Menu as follows. 44 Favorites Click on the Favorites Menu item and the system displays a reminder to Right-Click the individual Menu Programs to add to or remove from your favorites: Upon adding to the Favorites in this fashion, the same program is now accessible via the Favorites Windows Bar drop-down-menu: Admin Clicking on the Admin Menu item and the system displays the drop-down Menu as follows: Refresh Menu This option will update the Menu Tree with the most recently updated Menus. This should only be used when instructed by ISSI Personnel. Help

45 Click on the Help Menu item and the system displays the drop-down Menu as follows: ISSI Log Files to ISSI Support Screen Image to ISSI Support Print Screen Print Window Log Input Show log Click on this item to Link to your Program. The system inserts the send to address so you can send directly to ISSI Support. Click on this item to Link to your Program. The system automatically attaches your log files to the and enters a send to address so you can send the directly to ISSI Support. Click on this item to Link to your Program. The system automatically attaches the screen you have displayed to an and enters a send to address so you can send the directly to ISSI Support. Click on this item and the system automatically prints an image of the screen. This includes any background image that may be bordering your Program. Similar to the Print Screen item, click on this item and the system automatically prints an image of the window you have selected. This does not include any background image that may be bordering your Program. This item is only used by ISSI personnel. Click on this item and the system displays the event Program log. This is mainly used by ISSI personnel. Click on this item to see the Program version number and copyright date. About

46 Zoom Field Find the Zoom Bar below the Menu Bar at the top of the screen. Similar to below: Click on the down arrow button to the right of the Zoom Bar, you will see the following drop-down window appear: The Zoom sizes affect the screen output in the Primary Window. If you do not see the Zoom bar, check the View drop-down Menu to ensure it is checked. These selections work exactly the same as the Zoom selection on Microsoft Word. ISSI strongly recommends the Fit Screen option for best results with ULTRA. External Links Bar The External Links Bar is similar to the Links drop-down Menu on the Menu Bar. Here you have a few more options. You find the External Links Bar across the top of your screen under the Windows Menu Bar. These Links vary depending on the requirements of your particular Fund. The following are some examples. ISSI Documentation TIFA ISSI Home Ultra Navigation Guide ISSI Remit This Link is the same as clicking on the Big Button for ISSI Documentation. This Link accesses the TIFA database system if applicable This option is identical to the Home Page Bug Button described above. This Link will open an Internet Browser to an online PDF of this documentation. This Link moves you to the ISSI i-remit Module if applicable.

47 Exiting & Updating ISSI ULTRA Correctly When preparing to leave the ISSI ULTRA system, be sure to do so properly. First, make sure all Primary Windows are closed. Do not attempt the next step without the Home Page or your Fund s logo displaying in the Primary Window (i.e. no open Programs). *ALWAYS* Use the last entry on the Menu-Tree labeled Exit to exit ISSI ULTRA: After a short pause, the application will close. Exiting the ISSI system any other way does not log you out cleanly. Exiting the ISSI system incorrectly could create record locks or other database problems on your server. *ONLY IF THE ABOVE METHOD IS IMPOSSIBLE* should you proceed with the following method: Use the Exit option on the File drop-down on the Menu Bar.
