5 1. Introduction of operation and set up This product is temperature and humidity controller for temperature and humidity chamber and is composed of Touch Screen and LCD Display which designed to control temperature and humidity at the same time. It is easy to operate simply by using touch screen methods. 1.1 Basic key for set up There are several basic keys for set up described as follows (Table 1.1): <Table 1.1> NO Type of Key Description 1 1) It is a window conversion key which converts current window to the window of title shown on the switch. 2) Key for operation(ex. RUN/STOP, Page up/down, EDIT, SET etc.) 2 ON OFF Selection of ON/OFF or choose one from multi selection keys (ex. one choice out of three) 3 Key for numeric data which can be set. (Number keyboard is appeared when the key is pressed) When pressing above-mentioned keys, it notifies whether its function is correct or not with following sounds. 1) Beep : When set up is correct. 2) Be-ep : When wrong key is pressed. 3) Be-be-beep : Pressed key is correct when data are changed by number keyboard. 1.2 Number keyboard Number keyboard is needed when set numeric data and move cursor. There are two kinds of number keyboard as shown below. One is lengthwise and the other is crosswise. ESC ESC ( Crosswise). ENT ENT ( Lengthwise) <Figure 1.1>Crosswise and lengthwise number keyboard - 1 -

6 1.3 Input set value Input set value with number keyboard Input set value is available by number keyboard. When key that shown in <Table 1.1> No. 3 is pressed, number keyboard appears, then set value can be edited by touching number. (Example 1) setting up 52.9 ºC (1) Press 10.0 ºC to call up number keyboard To cancel set value input (3) (4) (6) ESC ENT (2) (5) Press the number by above order. If the input value is O.K., press ENT key. Then set value will indicate 52.9 ºC and number keyboard disappears. To cancel input value, press ESC key. The number keyboard disappears and the previous value 10.0 ºC is still valid. Set up is not available If the input data is over than its set up range, OVER RANGE message will be appeared to notify the set is not correct Edit set point by cursor key When set point is edited, move to the position where is intended to change current value with cursor, then use number keyboard to set data. (Example 2) How to set 52.9 ºC by using cursor key (1) When press EDIT key, number keyboard is appeared and the cursor is located in initial input area. (2) Move cursor to the position where change the value by direction key on the number keyboard. (3) After that, follow the order (2) ~ (6) (Example 1.) - 2 -

7 1.4 Choose one from multi selection keys When choosing one from various modes or functions, press one item and selected item will be chosen with indication of inversion (Example 3) How to select BREAK mode from BREAK/COLD/HOT mode (1) BREAK COLD HOT Press BREAK key. (2) BREAK mode is set up with indication of inversion. BREAK COLD HOT 1.5 Release key-lock to set up On each set up group, Key is automatically locked when set up window is changed. Because of this reason when set up window is called, key is locked. At first, release KEY- LOCK, then change set value. Generally FREE/LOCK KEY is located on right corner of the bottom. FREE LOCK Key is locked. To change the value, press FREE key. FREE LOCK Key is unlocked (free). When key will be locked again. LOCK key is pressed, Warning Touch switch should be pressed only with a finger. Do not press it with a hard or sharp-pointed thing like a ball-point pen. Doing so can cause damage on the surface of the switch or its function
