3 IMPORTANT! KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE Congratulations on purchasing the Yepp Cargo. Please read these instructions carefully before you start using the Yepp Cargo and retain it for future reference. General instructions The Yepp Cargo can be mounted on existing front- and rear bicycle carriers, on condition that their carrying capacity is at least 10 kg. However, from a safety perspective, GMG advises a maximum allowable weight of 5 kg. If a carrier is not present, the Yepp Cargo can also be mounted using the Yepp Cargo Crown support (art no ) or the Yepp Cargo Frame support (art no ). The Yepp Cargo is not removable. Assembly instructions The Yepp Cargo is supplied, inclusive of attachments, for existing carriers. Refer to the relevant assembly instructions for assembly on the Yepp Cargo Crown support or Yepp Cargo Frame support. Position the 4 nuts in the underside of plastic plate A and mount to the Yepp Cargo using the socket head screws (4x). Tighten the bolts securely. Determine the correct position of the Yepp Cargo on the carrier and use the supplied black tie wraps (cable ties) to secure the Cargo. Ensure that sufficient space is left to open and close the Cargo before you close the tie wraps. Tighten the tie wraps securely and cut off the loose ends. (pic.2). Use The Yepp Cargo Boxx and Flexx can be closed with the clip. The Cargo is equipped with perforations in the bottom for rain water discharge. If necessary, the Cargo can be cleaned with a cloth and a lukewarm soap and water solution; do not use harsh cleaning products. Important Use of the Yepp Cargo can influence performance. Therefore ensure that the Yepp Cargo is never loaded beyond the maximum weight limit. Do not transport sharp objects in the Yepp Cargo. The Yepp Cargo is not suitable for transport of children. Warnings Check regularly to ensure that the Yepp Cargo is still firmly secured. Ensure that only tie wraps that are sufficiently strong and UV resistant are used when the Cargo is mounted on a different bicycle. Do not transport anything in the Yepp Cargo if the weight exceeds the maximum weight limit. Do not transport children in the Yepp Cargo. 4 Do not attempt to change anything on the Cargo yourself: all claims to warranties and / or liability will expire if you do. The Yepp Cargo Flexx bag should be removed when transporting a bicycle with the Cargo on a bicycle carrier. Turbulence may cause damage to the Yepp Cargo or the attachment mechanism, which could lead to an unsafe situation. Transport of the bicycle on a bicycle carrier, when a Yepp Cargo Boxx or Yepp Cargo Cosmo has been mounted, is not advisable due to turbulence. Do not use the Yepp Cargo if any of the parts are defective. Have a defective part replaced by your professional trader. Take a test trip to ensure that everything has been properly mounted and to ascertain whether the bicycle is hampered by the Yepp Cargo. Ensure a proper (two footed) standard. Check regularly to ensure that all attachments are secure. Possible damaged or broken parts should be replaced immediately: consult your professional trader. Consult your local bicycle dealer when in doubt with regard to mounting of the Yepp Cargo on your bicycle. GUARANTEE Our products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for one year after purchase. If you register your product on our website at the warranty is extended for an extra year. We will gladly replace the product free of charge if it has a manufacturing fault. If it cannot be expected to repair the product, we will replace thepart to our sole discretion. Who is covered? The original purchaser who has purchased the product from an authorised dealer in the same country as the buyer. Proof of purchase is always required. Production or material defects, whereby we have confirmed that the product has always been used under normal conditions as described in it. What is not covered? Second owner or modified products, poorly maintained products, improper or abnormal use, faded material, failure to follow the instructions, a child who is left unattended, safety harness not used, overloading, damage caused by transport, including air transport and freight. Costs to consumers within the warranty The consumer is responsible for all postage required to send the product to the manufacturer or distributor for warranty and/or service.
