The main offering in installation kits is the UniCam Pretium Tool Kit (TKT-UNICAM-PFC). This is a carefully designed tool kit that virtually eliminates human variability from the installation process. The TKT-UNICAM-PFC includes a lightweight, handheld installation tool with an immediate go/no-go feedback signal to provide unmistakable confirmation of a successful termination. The kit s high-performance cleaver has an integrated fiber scrap bin and a dualclamp precision hold for the field fiber, with a diamond blade to achieve a superior cleave. The standard UniCam Connector Installation Tool Kit (TKT-UNICAM) is a basic installation tool kit used to terminate all UniCam Connector styles (SC, LC and ST Compatible Connectors). UniCam Pretium- Performance Multimode Connectors (SC, LC and ST Compatible) can achieve Pretium-Performance with the use of this kit. A convenient carrying bag is provided with all the components necessary to terminate UniCam Connectors. The TKT-UNICAM can also be upgraded with a continuity test set (TEST-UNICAM-CTS) that provides a visual feedback feature when terminating connectors. The installer can watch for a red glow in the back of the connector to dim or disappear indicating that the field fiber is inserted properly into the connector. This is very useful for training new installers and reducing scrap rates. UniCam Connector Standard Installation Tool Kit Photo LAN273 For quick termination of ribbon cables, the UniCam MTP Connector Installation Tool Kit (TKT-UNICAM- MTP) is a single-ferrule design that terminates 2 fibers at a time on one connector. Compact and easy to carry, the kit contains a high-performance ribbon cleaver for superior cleave performance. The TKT-UNICAM-MTP also includes a ribbon coating thermal stripper, ribbon insertion tool, crimp tool and fiber preparation and cleaning materials.
