4 Chapter 2 - Separate machines configuration overview Here is how to setup a configuration when Spat and audio host are running on separate machines. you have the choice between using a network virtual audio driver and setting up hardware audio connections. 8 Chapter 2 - Loopback 8 Loopback 1. In Loopback, 'Channel Mapping' section, check 'Manual' then add channels up to max available (32)

22 Chapter 2 - AVB setup 22 AVB setup AVB is available for any mac that is equipped with a Thunderbolt port. The router must support AVB protocol. for more details, please visit avb.statusbar.com 1. On your first machine, open the following folder : MacintoshHD/System/Library/CoreServices/ start the AVB Audio Configuration application 2. Go to, Windows/Simple Virtual Audio Entity Configuration and select the ethernet device to use with AVB.

On your second machine,go to Audio Midi setup/windows/network Device browser. Your first machine entity is now listed. You're now ready to setup your project in both Spat and your audio host

27 Chapter 2 - Reaper - Track routing For each audio track that you need to send to Spat, in routing options, uncheck 'Master send' option and add a new hardware output for the dedicated output to Spat. 3. Create a new audio track which is dedicated to the audio that returns from spat.
