3 COMPANY OVERVIEW SMPC Dexon Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of SMPC Corporation Berhad which is listed on Bursa Malaysia (the Malaysian Stock Exchange). SMPC has over 40 years experience in the iron and steel industries. Dexon was established in 1974 as a pioneer manufacturer of quality welded steel office furniture for local Malaysian market. Dexon was acquired in 1990 by SMPC Corporation in line with our downstream growth plans.
