4 Operating Instructions: Attaching the GOgroove SoundClip to your Laptop or Netbook Computer Pull the left and right speakers apart until the (f) Retractable cable is long enough to attach to your netbook or laptop computer. Open the (g) Speaker clips with your thumbs and attach to desired position on your computer. The SoundClip USB Stereo Speaker can also stand upright on any flat surface for easy desktop placement. The (g) Speaker clips on the bottom work to support the SoundClip USB Stereo Speaker upright. Connecting the SoundClip to Your Computer The SoundClip USB Stereo Speaker features a Plug-and-Play design that sends power and audio through a single USB cord. After first making sure your laptop is on, connect one end of the (2) USB audio connection cable into the (e) USB connection jack and the other end into the USB port on your computer. The SoundClip will be automatically recognized and activated upon connection. For Mac OSX, you may have to adjust your USB audio settings. Adjusting Volume The SoundClip USB Stereo Speaker is equipped with on-board volume controls. Press the (a) Volume down button or (b) Volume up button to adjust the sound as loud or quiet as you would like. The middle (c) Mute button can be used to quickly and completely turn off the sound coming from your speakers. When you re ready to hear your music again, simply press the (c) Mute button and sound will resume.

5 Operating Instructions (cont d) Magnetic Design The SoundClip USB Stereo Speaker has a folding magnetic design that allows you to fold it in a variety of ways whether in or out of use. You can connect each end of the speaker together from the inner sides when the (f) Retractable cable is not in use, to create one larger speaker. If your SoundClip USB Stereo Speaker is not in use and you are taking it to travel, you can also fold each speaker end together so that it is more compact and easy to carry on-the-go. 6 Troubleshooting Having trouble getting music to play from your computer? Please check to make sure that the volume level on your laptop and SoundClip USB Stereo Speaker is turned up. Also, check to make sure that the SoundClip USB Stereo Speaker is not on MUTE. The LED power indicator is not ON. Please make sure the (2) USB audio connection cable is properly plugged into both your computer and SoundClip USB Stereo Speaker. If the cable is loose the LED power indicator will not turn on. I pulled the retractable cable out all the way and now it does not retract back together. If the (f) Retractable cable is pulled out as far as it can go, it will lock in place. If the (f) Retractable cable does not retract after completing pulling it out, continue to gently tug on it until it retracts together again. Cautions - Do not close your laptop screen while SoundClip Stereo Speaker is attached. - Do not pull the retractable cable further than it will allow with gentle force.
