KITCHEN, BATHROOM, The HLS 51 Radio is installed through a standard halogen spotlight hole in the ceiling, designed specifically to replace lights of 51 mm in diameter. It can be controlled via remote control or a control unit incorporated in German standard switch programms. This allows you to combine light and sound to optimal effect providing uniform coverage. With its 55 x 55 mm front plate it fits in many standard existing German switch boxes. The MP 55 has two audio channels, one dock connector for ipod/iphone* and one AU plug in on the front panel (mini stereo jack). Alternatively, instead of tuner 3 and tuner 4, two external audio sources such as a CD- or DVD-player can be connected. The central unit can be connected with up to 8 control units DAM Basic IR. Moreover, there is a stereo speaker connection and even a line-out interface that lets you connect an external amplifier. A maximum of 9 Zones can be operated independently. The central unit can be stacked on other Hi-Fi equipment or can be installed in a 19 frame or cabinet. It is available in black. DAM Basic IR The operating unit DAM Basic IR with its front plate of 55 x 55 mm is installed per room and fits into any German standard switch box. In addition to the front AU input (stereo mini jack) and a rear linein, two other audio sources can be connected for playback in each room. Operating functions: on/off, loud/soft, source selection, menu, alarm clock and sleep. It is available in white and black. CT 100 The audio source CT 100 combines a radio, CD player, USB and SD SmartCard interface in one device and is suitable for connection to the DAM 4000 Central. 20 4. MULTI-ROOM COMPLETE SOLUTION WITH KN FOR SMART HOMES & BUILDINGS A KN-controlled multi-room system for integration into building automation. Thus, the sound system, as with the light, blinds, temperature etc, can be controlled by the same user interface (KN). With this you can also create individual Cross Scenes such as dimming the lights together with reducing the sound to 80 % volume or dim the lights, sound volume to 80 % and closing the blinds! 21 COMPONENTS Preamp 800 The preamplifier PREAMP 800 amplifies the signals from up to 4 stereo or 8 mono audio sources so that they can be smoothly transmitted over long cable lengths. One channel can be used as a microphone input. The device can be stacked on other Hi-Fi equipment or can be installed in a 19 frame or cabinet. AM 840 The audio actuator AM 840 distributes the signals of the connected audio sources into different zones/rooms. Either 2 rooms in stereo or 4 in mono. For more rooms, another audio actuator is needed. The AM 840 is DIN rail mounted in the cabinet. AMP 10 DC HS The power amplifier AMP 10 DC HS provides enough power for wall or ceiling speakers and is DIN rail mounted in the cabinet. ACCESSORIES CT 100 The audio source CT 100 combines a radio, CD player, USB and SD SmartCard interface in one device and is suitable for connection to the DAM 4000 Central. The audio source can be stacked on other Hi-Fi equipment or can be installed in a 19 frame or cabinet. It is available in black. KN switch WHD KN standard switch. MP 55 The MP 55 docking station is suitable for music playback from ipod/iphone* or any other mp3 player whilst simultaneously charging the device. VILLAS, An intelligent Digital multi-room audio system for the distribution of 6 central audio sources for up to 254 rooms (zones). The system can be controlled by the DAM iphone APP or operating units/switch plates over KN or IP. 25 COMPONENTS DAM 6000 Up to 5 analogue or digital sound sources can be connected to the DAM 6000 central unit and, moreover, these sources can be selected and operated independently of any zone. With the 6 presets you can save all the system functions as Scenes, for example morning scene as Preset 1, Holiday and Sunday settings as Preset 2, etc. The DAM 6000 central unit can also be stacked on other Hi-Fi equipment or can be installed in a 19 frame or cabinet. DAM LS Stereo With a requirement of one unit per zone or area, this is a basic 2 x 20 Watt stereo amplifier that can be DIN rail mounted within a cabinet. MP 55 The MP 55 docking station is suitable for music playback from ipod/iphone* or any other mp3 player whilst simultaneously charging the device. 28 6. RETROFIT/RENOVATION WITH WIRELESS AUDIO The main benefit of this system is that the audio signal is transmitted wirelessly thus dramatically reducing cable requirements. The WT 2.4 transmitter can be connected to a Hi-Fi stereo system, a PC/Laptop or any mp3 player and the JACKPORT Wireless not only distributes the audio signal but simultaneously charges the plugged in ipod or iphone*. The WR 2.4 receiver is then connected to any audio amplifier or active speaker to give the sound you want in any room. Alternatively, you could choose our Mini 4-Wireless which is Hi-Fi speaker with it s own built-in wireless receiver. 29 WIRELESS TRANSMITTER WT 2.4 Wireless transmitter for distribution of audio signals from any Hi-Fi stereo system or from any mp3 player or a laptop/pc. The audio sources are connected via a mini stereo jack. Excellent for use in rooms where a drive by wire is not possible. Available in black only. JACKPORT-Wireless Wireless radio transmitter and ipod/iphone charging station in one device for transmitting the audio signal.
