Using the LogTag Interface and the freely available companion software LogTag Analyzer, the LogTag is easily set-up for recording conditions including delayed start, sampling interval, number of readings, continuous or fixed number of readings and configuration of conditions to activate the ALERT indicator. 3 LogTag Remote Probe Options LogTag TREX is designed and calibrated for use with LogTag ST100 remote temperature probes. Only these probes are compatible with TREX and using any other probe type is likely to cause an error in readings. Identifying an ST100 probe The ST100 probe is distinguished from other LogTag remote temperature probe types by the blue sleeve present at the plug end of the probe cable. Thin tipped probes also feature the same blue sleeving where the cable enters the stainles steel tip. Handled probe Part#s ST100H-15 (1.5m) and ST100H-30 (3.0m) The standard handled probe incorporates a 70mm long shaped overmolded handle with a 105mm length 5mm OD (slightly greater than 3/16 ) 316 stainless probe. If a TREX/ST100 probe combination is calibrated to a higher level of accuracy (as is possible) then care should be taken to always use the same TREX/ST100 combination for measurements, as the ST100 sensor is not rated interchangeable at accuracies better than the TREX/ ST100 rating in this specification.
