2 A USB cable with a clip and a USB plug are included in the package to recharge the watch via a computer USB port or an electrical home outlet as shown below. It takes 3 to 4 hours to recharge the watch. The lithium polymer battery is protected with a charging protecting chip. It is recommended to recharge the watch overnight to make sure that it is fully charged. 2

3 PLACE THE CLIP ON THE WATCH AS SHOWN ON PAGE 2 BEFORE CONNECTING THE USB WIRE TO A COMPUTER USB PORT OR AN ELECTRICAL HOME OUTLET. DO NOT TOUCH THE METAL PIECES IN-BETWEEN THE CLIP WHILE CHARGING. DO NOT WEAR THE WATCH WHILE CHARGING. BE CAREFUL TO AVOID ELECTRICAL SHOCK. THE METAL CONTACTS ON THE CLIP MUST TOUCH THE BACK OF THE WATCH AND THE FLAT MIDDLE BUTTON ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE WATCH. 3

4 Thank you for purchasing WatchMinder3. The watch was invented by a psychologist who works with children and adults who have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD). TRAINING MODE-You select one self help message and you are alerted at a fixed interval throughout the day to, for example, RELAX every 15 minutes. 2. REMINDER MODE-You can select up to 30 reminders a day. These alerts remind you to do specific tasks throughout the day at pre-specified times. These alerts repeat daily. 4

5 THE WATCHMINDER3 HAS THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS TIME & DATE (real-time calendar clock with time and date) (P8-P13) VIBRATION ALERT (P14-15) TRAINING MODE (P16-P23) REMINDER MODE (P24-P30) SPECIAL OPERATING NOTES FOR WATCHMINDER3 1.A 24 hour clock is used in setting the watch. The display will be in a regular 12 hour clock. AM or PM and day of a week will appear on the screen automatically after time,date and year are set. 2.Vibration alert: a. Training Mode: A training alert will last 10 seconds and will automatically repeat again in 20 seconds. Pushing any button, EXCEPT FOR LIGHT BUTTON, will stop the vibration. b. Reminder Mode: A reminder alert will last 10 seconds and will automatically repeat again in 20 seconds. There is also a snooze feature. The alert will automatically repeat the first cycle in 2 minutes. Pushing any button, EXCEPT FOR LIGHT BUTTON, will stop the vibration and eliminate the automatic repeat snooze feature. 5

6 3. While setting the watch,if you do not push any button within 30 seconds, the screen will automatically return to the time of day. 4. In case a Training Mode alert and a Reminder Mode alert are activated at the same time, the Reminder Mode alert will win and Training Mode alert will activate right after Reminder Mode alert stops. 5. Push and hold down buttons 2 and 4 for THREE seconds to reset the watch.(push 2 FIRST AND IMMEDIATELY PUSH 4 AND HOLD THEM DOWN FOR 3 SECONDS) Pushing these two buttons resets the watch to the original factory settings and this will delete your program. 6. There are 15 preset Training Mode messages (BATHROOM, BEPOSITIVE, BREATHE, COUGH, GIVE POSITIVE, I CAN DO IT, IGNORE, PAY ATTN, POSTURE, PRAY, RELAX, SLOW DOWN, SMILE, STOP, STRETCH) and 50 preset Reminder Mode messages (BACKPACK, BANK/BILLS, BATHE, BATHROOM, BED TIME, BOOKS, CALL/TEXT, CHORES, CLEAN, COOK, DIABETIC TEST, DOCTOR, DRESS, EAT, EXERCISE, GET KIDS, GO HOME, GO LESSON, GO MEETING, GO SCHOOL, GO SPORT, GO WORK, HW/STUDY, 6

If a message contains more than 10 letters, it will scroll across the screen when activated. 7. A low battery warning is located in the lower right corner of the screen. IMPORTANCE NOTICES: a. IT TAKES 3 TO 4 HOURS TO FULLY CHARGE THE WATCH. EVEN THOUGH THE SCREEN INDICATES THAT THE WATCH IS CHARGING, IT IS FULLY CHARGED AFTER 3 TO 4 HOURS. b. 29 The first message and time in your Reminder Mode is displayed. The reminder setting with the time closest to current time will be shown as the first setting. The settings are arranged in terms of time sequence. Push 2 to see your NEXT reminder message (messages are numbered 1 to 30) OR push 3 to DELETE (DEL) your reminder setting.
