Ostacchini Title: Backup & Retrieval Procedure 1 Introduction: 1.1 The purpose of this procedure is to provide a method of backing up files from the Clement Clarke holdings network to a secure location. 1.2 Backing up files is done on a daily basis by the Information Technology (IT) department. 2. Scope: 2.1 This procedure encompasses all organisations within the Clement Clarke Holdings group. 3. Definitions: 4. Back up files on a daily basis. Perform a full back up every week. 6. Method: 6.1 Current Backup Method Currently the backup method is via Backup Exec version 2010 R3 from a dedicated HP Proliant ML110 G6 Windows Bit server, name CCH-BK01. This starts at 04:00am and finishes approx. at 06:38am. 6.4 Off Site Mediamax who are partnered with Data Protect UK facilitate the storage of removable media off site Routine

3 There is a Monthly collection of 1 x tape and 1 x USB hard drive which is stored in a secure container with tamper proof locks. A Tracking system is available to monitor the location of the secure container at any time Transport The media is transported in LPG Transit Vans which are exempt from London Congestion charges. These vans are fitted with state of the art alarms, immobilisers and a locking system About the secure location Located in storage in Greenwich, London. Uses barcode asset tracking technology. Environmental controlled libraries conforming to BS4783 standard. Continuous environmental monitoring and recording. FM200 fire suppression systems. Security alarms monitored with a direct link to Emergency Services. 24 hour on site security. External/Internal access points. A solid perimeter fence encompassing the building. Account access via authorised personnel. Restricted account access via password and pin numbers Emergency Delivery Service Within 2 hours of normal working hours (Mon-Fri, Within 2 hours of outside normal working Backup Storage These backups are stored on System Type Unit Cost Linux/4man Date Backup Exec Sony LT BackupExec NAS BackupExec Duplicates USB Hard Drive NAS USB Hard Drive - Fourman uses a 3 week rota for each day (grandfather, father, son), therefore providing 15 tapes for each method, the addition of a new tape at the end of each month. 6.6 Retrieval of Data from Off Site Security level
