9 Hardware (1) Four channel/two preamp capability. Larger screen for easier viewing: 10.4 vs Reduction in weight and footprint: approx. 11 lbs. vs. 15 lbs. Smaller preamp size with hanger. Processor: Vortex MHz System On Chip. Improved data downloading via USB: 256 MB USB memory stick. Software upgrades using USB memory stick. Video output to a second, remote monitor.

10 Hardware (2) Current stand or swivel arm mounting with new adapter plate. Smaller battery size and capacity: approx. 20 min. No printer or disk drive. The RUN/PAUSE key is removed and replaced by a HOME key.

12 Software (1) Color coded channel number indicators which match sensor cables. Two channels per graph with corresponding alarm limits. Trend lines are color coordinated with the channel number indicators. User selectable channel labels for left, right, etc... Signal Quality Indicator to better reflect interference. Single setup screen to set user preferences. Status messages that have no rso 2 number are incorporated into the help notes.

13 Software (2) Separate status message area for ALARM HIGH, ALARM LOW, USB ERROR, COM PORT UNAVAILABLE and BATTERY LOW appear at the top right of the screen. Adult or pediatric event list automatically displayed depending on sensor mode. Sensor type (Cerebral or Somatic) of each individual sensor is indicated next to the channel number indicator. Sensor mode (Adult or Pediatric) is indicated above the graphs. Adult and pediatric sensors may not be mixed or the REPLACE SENSOR message will appear as a help note with no rso 2 value. Alarm/audio silence symbols appears in the upper right corner.
