Featuring two dual processor servers in 1U of space, these systems can be as robust or cost-conscious as needed. The blade housing chassis does not have a back plane, so each blade works independently. Designed with the HPC end-user in mind, the Intel blade units use the most recent processor technology with up to 32 cores per 1U chassis. To help reduce I/O bottlenecks for parallel jobs, ConnectX-3 QDR/FDR InfiniBand or 10G Ethernet is available on all blade models. If you need performance, but require energy efficiency, low-powered processors and solid state hard drives may also be used to reduce overall system power consumption
