Our conversion kits are designed for easy installation within a luminaire. 2 Technology The following technologies are available with conversion kits (dependent on module selected) mackwell AutoTest The latest range of mackwell AutoTest modules provide automatic self-testing in accordance with EN mackwell AutoTest performs a commissioning test upon connection to a permanent mains supply, a 30-second monthly functional test and a full rated yearly duration test. If the module detects a fault such as a failed lamp or battery, this is identified by the indicator LED changing from green to flashing red, accompanied by an audible alarm. SmartCharge mackwell s SmartCharge technology ensures batteries receive a full charge within 24 hours before reducing to a lower charge rate to maintain charge level. DALI Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) is according to latest standard EN and allows the remote configuration, testing, and supervision of emergency luminaires via a 2-way communication interface. Potential-free Module provides voltage-free contacts to allow emergency luminaires to be connected in series to a monitoring device. Contacts become open-circuit in the event of a recorded fault. Notes: Where mackwell AutoTest, DALI or Potential-Free is available, add suffix /A, /D1 or /P respectively to the order code. (e.g. XY6/PL1/D1) DALI variants not connected to a DALI network function according to mackwell AutoTest as default operation. The test start times of mackwell AutoTest variants are set automatically to allow random testing of luminaires. Consequently, tests may occur at any time and caution should be exercised in situations where this may be inconvenient, such as hotels and hospitals.

Lampheads are brushed aluminum finish as standard. For white finish add suffix /P (i.e. M1001/P).
