1 HPML AD G13B Street Lighting High Power Modular Lamp Constant Current Datasheet The HPML AD is a high power LED module with integrated heat sink for optimal thermal management and tailored optical design. The modular design concept of HPML AD Street Lighting allows for design flexibility by varying the module quantity to achieve the best street lighting solution for ME1, ME2 and ME3 road classes. The LED module is available in different color temperature (4000K and 6500K), offering very long time lifetime for minimal maintenance. HPML AD is a self-contained IP66 unit ideal for outdoor applications. Actual lumen output can be varied due to many factors like lamp factor of LED, input current/voltage, thermal conditions, many other optical tolerance, and measurement tolerance. The data above is for reference only. Please contact Osram sales or marketing staff for advice if customers has any specific demand on particular parameters. ## Exceeding maximum ratings for operation and storage temperature will reduce expected life time or destroy the LED module. The temperature of the LED module needs to be measured at the Tc-point according to EN in a thermally constant status with a temperature sensor or a temperature sensitive label. Assembly must not damage or destroy conducting paths on the circuit board. To avoid mechanical damage to the connecting cables, the module should be attached securely to the fixture. Heavy vibration should be avoided. Installation of LED modules with (power supplies) needs to be made with regard to all applicable electrical and safety standards. Only qualified personnel should be allowed to perform installation. Please ensure that the power supply is of adequate power to operate the total load. HPML AD G13B SQ L60X60 and HPML AD G13B L SQ L60X60 needs to connect with constant current DC driver which must has stable constant current (+/-10% tolerance suggested) output. Electrical contact is achieved with the contact cables. The design of the housing should be according to the IP standards in the application. Pay attention to standard ESD precautions when installing the module. If surge protection structure not within power supplier, a lightening protector should be needed additionally for outdoor application. If module applied to ClassⅠLuminaire, the heat sink must be grounded, and the maximum in serial connection should ensure the working voltage is less than 270V. tc value is 100 centigrade, higher tc application is not recommended.
