2 The Introduction Development Board of TQ_AM335X 1 The Brief Introduction of TQ_AM335X TQ_AM335X Development Board is more suitable for company clients and experienced user by its complete study and solutions. It is also be based on Cortex - A8 development platform,but more stable and cost less. So that, you can be familiar with TI AM335X processor's characteristics and design method quickly, and speed up your product development progress. The Characteristics of TI Sitara AM335X: The MPU is based on ARM Cortex-A8 development platform, the MAX of frequency is 720MHz. Support LPDDR1/DDR2/DDR3. The selection of Power Managerment s chip is agile.for example, TI TPS65910,TPS65217 and so on. Have the function of UI and 3D,and be integrated graphics accelerator and display controller. Integrated Dual Gigabit Ethernet interface,and up to 6-channel UART serial port, 2-channel CAN transceiver. Agile peripheral integration provides up to 4 groups GPIO port and each group 32pcs, part of the port can be realized up to seven reuse functions. Integrated programmable real-time unit (PRU) on chip which is unique for TI. Moreover,it provides configurable I/O configuration and the function of expand peripherals agilely. TQ_AM335X Development Board is composed of Core Board and Base Board.This two parts use U size double contact pin interface to connect each other and lead to all available interface of AM335X. 2

3 Note: In order to meet the requirements of lower cost of customers,tq_am335x development board's standard configuration is AM3354ZCZ or AM3358ZCZ processor.other models are compatible by PIN feet,so it is only for the slection of lot size user. Audio decoder and audio power amplifier, provide earphone interface, MIC interface and the SPK output. 3-channel serial port, 3-channel IIC, 1-channel SPI. 2-channel transceiver circuit of CAN, 1-channel 485 circuit. 6-channel ADC port. 24bit LCD interface,support capacitive touch screen and resistance touch screen. PWM control buzzer. SD card interface. 3-channel USB HOST and 1-channel USB OTG interface. RTC. 4

The Introduction of TQ_AM335X Core Board TQ_AM335X Core Board is composed of MPU (AM335XZCZ), memory (DDR3, 256 MB * 2), NAND FLASH (in the back), PMU (TPS65910A3, power management chip) and other peripheral circuit. TQ_AM335X Core Board's MPU is expanding the most functions by ZCZ encapsulation and also expanding the most functions of AM335X's chip.it is be leaved a wide variety of applications interface on board,in order to meet all requirements of learning or development.part of the interface can be reused for 7 functions.you can see the Pin Mux Utility Software which is provided by TI for its MPU's pin configuration to realize the anile configurate of the source of port and more functions. 6
