3 About This Document Description The contents of this document discuss minimum system requirements for the eteller Check21 systems with: eteller Check21 workstation v4.x eteller Check21 server v5.8.x. As part of your project, specific requirements will be identified that take into account your organization s needs. "Minimum Requirements" The term "minimum requirements" should not be construed as the specifics required for your systems to run correctly. In the absence of any other factors (e.g. additional software running on the system or the processing volume your FI generates), the minimum specs are operationally valid. Ensure you have factored in any additional software's minimum specs and added resources to this server's configuration as is appropriate. If you have questions, please ask your project coordinator or installer. Support Environments must meet at least the minimum published requirements to qualify for Support. 4 eteller Check21 Workstation System Types Supported workstation environments are: Physical PC Virtual Clients o Citrix XenDesktop 1 o VMware View 1 Thin Clients o Citrix XenApp 1 o Microsoft Terminal Server 1 Disk Space C: 2GB of free space. We need far less to install in but there needs to be some open space on the drive (for all programs to operate in). Processor RAM Other Dual core CPU or better 2GB minimum (not taking into account other software running) 2 4GB or more (recommended) 2 At least 1 Gigabit Network Interface (1) available port for the scanner: o USB 2.0 port (if USB connected) o Gigabit Ethernet port (if IP connected) Monitor / Graphics card running 1024x768 (or better) resolution Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 Microsoft.Net Framework 4.5 or later A scanner: o Canon CR-25 o Canon CR-50 o Canon CR-55 o Canon CR-80 o Canon CR-120 o Canon CR-150 o MagTek Excella Multifeed 3 o MagTek Excella STX 3 Silver Bullet - Ranger v4.x drivers for the scanner The workstation joined to the domain and normal access to the Domain/Active Directory server. 1. If implementing a virtualized or thin client environment, care must be taken to ensure adequate WAN resources exist to support scanning and signature pads. Please consult with your Client Success Manager for details to help you plan for environment requirements and hardware selection. 2. This specification is not indicating that a system with 2 GB of RAM will run our software and all the other software that you need to run. We require a system with at least 2GB of RAM. You will have to do the analysis of your other system demands to understand the correct (full) memory requirements in your environment. 3. IP connected scanners may be required for Virtualized and Thin Client environments. Consult with your Client Success Manager for details. Rahway, New Jersey of 5

5 eteller Check21 Server 1 System Types Supported server environments are: Virtual via OVA download o VMware ESXi o Microsoft HyperV System Resources The following are for documentation purposes only. Servers are created as Virtual Servers at IMM and downloaded as a fully installed (yet to be configured) server. Manual setup of these resources is not required. Disk Space Drives need to be in some type of redundant storage (RAID array, SAN, etc ) to prevent downtime. C: (OS drive) At least 20GB of free space (after installing the OS and all Windows Updates). E: (Application drive) 60GB, if you will manage (and increase as needed) drive space. 160GB, if you will allocate space one time. Processor (4) Cores (or VCPUs for 2.6Ghz or better (minimum configuration) RAM 8GB of RAM Other Gigabit Network Interface Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2 Standard Edition Microsoft Internet Explorer v11 Microsoft.NET Framework v2.0 Service Pack 1 Microsoft.NET Framework v4.5.x This server joined to the domain that the client workstations are in o Normal access to a fully functional Domain/Active Directory server for the above domain Notes 1) Server names may contain only alphanumeric and hyphen characters, up to 15 total characters. 2) The individual performing the install of the servers must be logged in as the local administrator. 3) Remote installs require WebEx on the server desktop 2. 4) Live and Test instances of this server are required. Once installed the Test server can be allocated with fewer resources. Your installer will work with you to determine your test configuration. 1.
