15 SMART Panel I Lumineux Smart Panels deliver precisely the light performance required by the end user. Intelligent detection Every panel has its own integrated motion/presence detector, daylight sensor, IR receiver and IR transmitter, all neatly engineered into the panel frame. Simple plug and play programming via remote control for one panel or large installations. This series is the very latest ultra-slim panel which incorporates a micro prismatic diffuser, with a very low UGR of <16, which is widely used in various applications including office space, retail stores, workstations and commercial showrooms. 16 Lumineux SMART Panels deliver precisely the light performance required by the end user, easily, affordably and reliably backed-up with a full 5-year warranty from Lumineux. Lumineux SMART panels eliminate many of the problems associated with having minimal sensors in a given workspace. Having just one or two sensors meant that control was often basic and savings were not available until everyone had left large office spaces. Having a SMART sensor in every fitting allows for savings to be maximised without compromising light quality. Where and when daylight is available, light output is automatically controlled according to your pre-determined profiles. SMART panels communicate with each other so that they can be controlled in small or large groups and light will effectively ripple across a room as motion is detected by any one panel. (See diagram below) As the space is entered, the detecting panel and the ones next to it go to 100% on and panels in the next positions go to 80%, 40%, and 20% respectively rippling across the space. As the person moves across the space, the pool of light moves with them, and lights that are now behind them reduce in power before turning off if no further motion is detected. 17 SMART Panel II Lumineux Smart Panel II delivers the right intensity with the right colour temperature. Lighting that makes you healthier, happier and more productive. Numerous studies have shown that humans operate best when they are exposed to the pattern of colour of white light which closely mirrors the natural change of external ambient light. The colour of white light changes throughout the day. From the soft, warm hues 2700k in the mornings and evenings, through the cooler whites of 4000k of mid-morning and 5000k of mid-day to the daylight intensity 6000k at noon. With the advent of LED lighting and the control that is possible today, it is easy to bring the ambience of daylight colour change to your commercial space. The new logic added to Smart sensors already intuitive control, enables Smart Panel II to deliver just the right type of light for your needs, when you need it like many of Smart Panel II s other characteristics, automated human centric change can be switched on and off as needed. When off, the user can select the colour temperature that suits their needs manually. Tuneable LED Panels are now available to provide colour shifted light (2700k to 6000k) and dimmable convenience. Smart Panel II has a Human Centric Lighting profile built in.
