3 Objective of Good Content a. To increase Customer Confidence in making purchase through informed decisions b. To enable sellers to be on Whitelisting

4 #1 What is the guideline for product content? (a) CONTENT 1. Naming Convention - Naming should be in Title Case. For example, Philips PAF234 Air Fryer (Black) *Only model numbers are allowed to be in full caps - The use of the symbol & is replaced with the full spelling of and to enhance SEO and URL generation Example: Samsung Tab GB White & Keyboard should be Samsung Tab GB White and Keyboard - (Refurbished) must be put in the naming to indicate that the product is a refurbished set. (Telco Set) is allowed for listings under Mobiles & Tablets Other than as stated in the above, any other words that is present in brackets are not allowed (eg: (Local set), (Warranty), (New item), (Factory refreshed) and etc) - For Bundle SKUs, there are 2 ways to indicate if the sku is a bundle sku in the naming:- 1) Using (Bundle) + quantity of items in the bundle set Eg: (Bundle) L oreal Expert Hair Spray x 4 2) Using (Bundle) + all the items with the set Eg: (Bundle) Takada Waffle Maker + Takada Toaster

Product Description - Concise and clear description of the product being displayed and sold - No specific word counts are required for description, as long as it tells about the product (specifications, how to use, etc) - The description must be connected to the product itself - No external links can be present - Best to have related pictures to the product - Specifications Table is COMPULSORY for i) Mobiles & Tablets ii) Computers & Laptops iii) Home Appliances iv) Cameras v) Watches vi) TV, Audio / Video, Gaming, Gadgets (formerly CE) - Size Guide: COMPULSORY for shoes & attire listings under Fashion, Sports & Outdoors, Baby & Toddler (formerly TKB)

7 #1 What is the guideline for product content? 4. Highlights / Short Description Main selling points of the product being sold Text format only : NO images, HTML coding, and external links. Must be between 3 to 8 points in bullet point format Preferably in short sentences as for neater presentation in the webpage HTML coding for highlights: <ul><li>highlights</ul></li> 5. Images and Videos in Description Maximum image width : 700px. No limit for image height, however longer images may affect the PDP s loading time. Recommended video size : 640 x 360 (width x height). Use embed code to add videos in Description column, not the video URL. NO unboxing and product reviews videos allowed. 6. What s in the Box / Package Content What customers can expect to receive in their packages when they order a certain product. ACCURACY IS IMPORTANT. As Content Team do not have package content information, we won t be responsible should there be complaints from customers due to inaccurate listings. Format: 1 x Item name (Example: 1 x iphone 6s 32GB, 1 x Cable, 1 x Charger, 1 x Screen Protector) Text format only : NO images, HTML coding, and external links.

Free Items / Seller Promotions - Indicating the free item being promoted with the SKU - Each item must be marked with 1 x or depending on the quantity of items to show clear indication for the customers - The items that are on promotion should only be indicated in this section and not the what s in the box

10 #1 What is the guideline for product content? (b) IMAGE 1. Recommended image ratio for all categories: 1:1 at a minimum of 500 x 500 pixels and a maximum of 2000 x 2000 pixels in dimension 2. Coloured backgrounds: Allowed only for images with 1:1 ratio for these categories: - Fashion - Home & Living - Sports & Outdoors (sports apparels and shoes only) - Watches, Sunglasses & Jewelry. 3. White background applies to: - Other dimensions/ratio besides 1:1 for FA, HL, SP, WSJ - Other categories than the ones listed above

12 #1 What is the guideline for product content? 4. Freebie Template - Images for SKUs with freebies/free sample must be displayed using the standard Lazada freebie template, as seen at the image sample. - Freebie template can be obtained from KAMs and PSC team.

13 #2 What fields are mandatory? 1. Product Information - Product Name - Brand (If the product is non-branded, select OEM) - Model (If applicable) - Color Family - Attributes (depending on category) 2. More Product Details - Highlights - Product Description - What s in the Box - Measurements: Package Weight (kg), Package Height (cm), Package Length (cm), Package Width (cm) - Warranty Type and Warranty Period: COMPULSORY for MT, CL, CE, HA, Cameras, Watches. *If no warranty is offered: Select No Warranty in Warranty Type drop-down menu and Please select in Warranty Period menu (Leave column blank for product creations via CSV). *For other categories: Choose Please select in Warranty Type and Warranty Period (Leave columns blank for product creations via CSV).

14 #3 How will I know if my product fails QC? Go to Seller Center -> Products -> Manage Products -> Search for product -> Check Visible column - If there s an X next to Quality Approved, it means the listing fails QC.

15 #4 What do I do after my product fails QC? Go to Seller Center -> Products -> Manage Products -> Poor Quality tab - Refer to Rejected Reasons and QA Comment columns from QC agents to check what needs to be amended before listings are sent for another round of QC.

16 #5 My products passed QC but it s not showing on website. Go to Seller Center -> Products -> Manage Products -> Search for product -> Check Visible column Reason #1 - SKU is already approved, but it s not synced yet. - If there s a green tick next to Quality Approved, but an X next to Not yet uploaded to shop, it means the listing is already approved, and it s currently being synced to the website. Kindly allow several minutes for the synchronization to take place.

17 #5 My products passed QC but it s not showing on website. Reason #2 - No stock assigned to the listing (Price > 0 and Stock > 0) - By default, when stock level is 0, listing will automatically go offline. - New listing with no stock assigned to it WILL NOT be visible, even when it s QC-approved.
