1 Submit/Update Certificate of Completion & Possession Warranty Certificate (CCP) Instructions Submit/Update CCP Data: Manual Entry Note: Use this option to submit manual first time CCP data submissions OR to update CCP data already submitted that are within 15 days of the warranty start date previously entered. CCP data submission is not available for same-day enrolments or condominium Common Element (CE) enrolments. 1. Select Manage Enrolments/Create CCP* from the Enrolments menu *NOTE: access is restricted to users with Submit Enrolments permission 2. Select Submit/Update CCP Data from drop-down menu March 2018 Page 1 of 12
2 3. Select Vendor/Builder from drop-down menu 4. Leave all fields in Section 3 Refine you search blank and click Search for a list of all enrolments OR refine your search as follows: a. Refine search by entering Enrolment Information (e.g. enrolment number or batch number or enrolment date range if known); OR b. Municipal Address (e.g. street name); OR c. Legal Address (e.g. lot #) Note: Mandatory fields within each search denoted by * 5. Click the Enrolment Number hyperlink from the search results* (make note of enrolment number if not known, which can be used to print the CCP or for future updates) *NOTE: Warranty Start Date (WSD) will be displayed for enrolments where CCP data has been submitted. WSD will be blank if CCP data has not been submitted. Enrolments with CCP data submitted or updated will remain in search results until 15 calendar days after January 19, 2017 Page 2 of 12
3 WSD (e.g. WSD of May 10, 2017 will remain in search results until May 25, 2017) If unable to find enrolment via BuilderLink, via the Contact Us link on the home page using subject: Enrolments 6. Enter CCP Data for Person (maximum of 30 characters) or Organization (maximum of 50 characters) Confirm Municipal Address (or modify if needed) and Submit. See below for examples: Person: Enter homeowner details - for multiple homeowner s use following format: Same Last Name: Different Last Name: Multiple/Long Names: January 19, 2017 Page 3 of 12
4 OR 7. Confirmation for submission displayed: 8. CCP data submission is complete. CCP can now be printed see printing instructions on page 8. ***When CCP data is submitted via BuilderLink please do not send a copy of CCP by mail or fax to Tarion*** Submit/Update CCP Data: Multiple Enrolments Via.csv File NOTE: CCP data submission is not available for same-day enrolments or condominium Common Element (CE) enrolments. 1. 5 5. From search results, select the enrolments to be included in CSV file OR click Select All to select all enrolments listed 6. Click Download CSV File to download and save.csv file. *NOTE: If using Internet Explorer, ensure downloads are enabled, pop-ups are allowed or builderlink.tarion.com has been saved as an allowed site - save file in easily accessible location with desired file name) 7. Open downloaded.csv file, depending on your browser you may be requested to open or it may download automatically (tip: you can highlight entire worksheet and to expand the columns) January 19, 2017 Page 5 of 12
6 8. Input CCP Data in the following column cells - **DO NOT MODIFY THE FILE**: a. Column K: Homeowner Type (P for person, O for organization) b. Column L&M/N: Homeowner, each field maximum of 30 characters; Organization Name, maximum of 50 characters. If multiple homeowners see input format on page 1. c. Column O: Warranty Start Date, format = mm/dd/yyyy d. Column P: Final Selling Price, numerical value only without $ sign or comma e. Column Q: Homeowner Address f. Column R: After Sales Service Contact, maximum 55 characters. 9. Save file ensuring you change the file format to.csv (save file in easily accessible location) 10. If still logged into BuilderLink, click New Search, select Submit/Update CCP Data from drop-down menu and proceed to step 11. If new session, follow steps 1-2, then proceed to step In section 1, click Browse to locate and select the saved.csv file. 12. Click Upload once the file name appears in the box beside Browse 13. Confirmation of submission will be displayed, it may take several minutes for all CCP's to be uploaded. January 19, 2017 Page 6 of 12

CCPs can now be printed see printing instructions on page 8 ***When CCP data is submitted via BuilderLink please do not send a copy of CCP by mail or fax to Tarion*** Delete Submitted CCP Data: Note: Use this option when a closing/occupancy was not completed to clear previously submitted CCP data. CCP data can only be cleared for enrolments that are future dated or are within 15 calendar days of the warranty start date entered 1. Select Manage Enrolments/Create CCP* from the Enrolments menu. 2. Select Submit/Update CCP Data from drop-down menu 3. Select Vendor/Builder from drop-down menu 4. Leave all fields blank and click Search for a list of all enrolments OR refine your search as follows: a. Refine search by entering Enrolment Information (e.g. enrolment number or batch number or enrolment date range if known); OR b. Municipal Address (e.g. street name); OR c. Legal Address (e.g. lot #) Note: Mandatory fields within each search denoted by * 5. Click the Enrolment Number hyperlink January 19, 2017 Page 7 of 12
8 6. Delete only* the Warranty Start Date by clicking the red x. The Homeowner name and Final Selling Price fields will be deleted once you click Submit. 7. Confirmation for submission will be displayed, CCP data is now deleted and enrolment is available for new CCP submission Print CCP: Warranty Start Date Within last 60 Days or Future-Dated Note: CCP Data must be submitted first in order to print the CCP (see page 1). Printing is for CCP s with a warranty start date within the last 60 days or for future-dated CCP s. If the warranty start date is more than 60 days old, you will need to print the CCP from Search by Enrolment Details under the Enrolment menu. 1. Select Manage Enrolments/Create CCP* from the Enrolments menu January 19, 2017 Page 8 of 12

10 4. Leave all fields blank and click Search for a list of all enrolments OR refine your search as follows: a. Refine search by entering Enrolment Information (e.g. enrolment number or batch number or enrolment date range if known); OR b. Municipal Address (e.g. street name); OR c. Legal Address (e.g. lot #) Note: Mandatory fields within each search denoted by * 5. From search results*, select the enrolments by selecting the box to the left of the enrolment to be printed OR click Select All to select all enrolments listed. (*Note: There are instances where there may be a delay between when the CCP data is submitted and when the enrolment shows up in the Print CCP search results wait minutes and try the Print CCP search again) 6. Click Print CCP button, a PDF file* for the selected enrolment(s) is provided and available for printing. Depending on your browser you may be prompted to open the file or it may download automatically. *Note: If printing multiple CCPs, the file will provide CCPs consecutively; ensure printing preference is set for one-sided printing. 7. Print CCP, sign, date and provide copy to homeowner. *** Homeowner signature & copy of CCP to Tarion is no longer required - please do not send copy to Tarion*** Print CCP: Warranty Start Date Older Than 60 Days 1. 11 2. Enter enrolment number or other search criteria, click Search 3. Click the enrolment number hyperlink for the desired enrolment from search results January 19, 2017 Page 11 of 12
12 4. Click the Home Docs icon on the Enrolment Details page displayed 5. Locate and click on the line item CCP Form in the Home Docs list to open, depending on your browser it may open automatically or download. Print the CCP by selecting print from your computer.
