1 CTPOS 6.6 Circuit Emulation Software Release Notes Release 6.6R2 20 th June 2014 New Hardware: This release notes accompany Release 6.6R2 of the CTPOS Circuit Emulation software. This describe the enhancements, fixes as well as known issues with the software. CTPOS runs on all Juniper Networks CTP 150 and CTP 2000 series platforms. Note: When upgrading from 6.x to 6.6R2, you must also upgrade CTPView to version 4.6R1 to manage CTPs on 6.6R2 or earlier. 2 CVE Fixes: Issue in configuring static routes on CTP when RMR is enabled has been resolved [PR/943025] Fixed memory leak issue caused due to SNMP [PR/942495] SSH session hangs after upgrading CTP from 5.3R2 to 5.4R12 with MTU set as 165. [PR/933799: This issue has been resolved.] CTP2000 PP833 CPU Ethernets not identified properly in S/W. [PR/930412: This issue has been resolved.] To add more than 56 VIPs, please contact JTAC [PR/986759: This issue has been resolved.] Added diagnostic capability in CTP s/w to check if MS Daughter card is able to transmit audio or not. [PR/974139: This issue has been resolved.] Serial/MS Daughter cards not shown up after power reboot CTP. [PR/973149: This issue has been resolved.] RMR only removes first route when the interface next hop becomes unreachable [PR/925482: This issue has been resolved] If AAS secondary revert is Disabled, AAS will not failback to primary when secondary path becomes unreachable [PR/925363: This issue has been resolved] Manual upgrade from 6.2R1 leads to failure of ACORN MIB walk in SNMP. [PR/948935: This issue has been resolved] Ethernet failover does not support VLAN and its IP switching [PR/971882: This issue has been resolved] Deleting VLAN interfaces from the boxes gives error messages during reboot [PR/997158: This issue has been resolved] Known Issues: Required Files: Serial Inband signaling does not work properly when multiple output signals are configured to carry signals inband. 3 CTPOS Upgrade Archive File: acorn_429_6.6r2_ tgz. Flash Archive: flash_6.6r2.img - Required only when you are creating a new flash. CTP Complete Package File: ctp_complete_6.6r2_ tgz- Required only when you use CTPView. Migration Flash Archive File: acorn_xxx_6.6r2_140620_migration_flash.tgz- Required only when you create a migration flash. CTP2000 Bios Archive File: acorn_429_110915_bios_v221.tgz - Required only during migration. This file is not required for the CTPOS upgrade. Open SSL Archive File: acorn_429_openssl_0.9.8za_ tgz Open SSH Archive File: acorn_429_openssh_6.6p1_ tgz. NTP Archive File: acorn_429_ntp4.2.6p5_ tgz Note: - 1. The version listed in the file name of the Winmon support file (210) is the same as that in the 6.2R1 Winmon version, however, the date portion of the file name differs ( vs ). A change was made to the file that deals with installation and not to the actual Winmon code itself. This is the reason the date changed but the version did not. The Voice and Daughter card support files are also affected by this. 2. Disable all ports/bundles before initiating the upgrade process. Manual upgrade from 6.6R1: While upgrading any archive on CTP boxes, it is necessary to make sure that the intended archive is only present on the /tmp directory. No other archives should be present on /tmp directory of ctp box. Manually we can upgrade any package in non-interactive mode or in interactive mode. upgrade y is the console command to upgrade any package without any user interaction. Note: 3

4 The Winmon file is used to upgrade CTP2000-IM-8P-T1E1 Cards. The FPGA file is used to upgrade both CTP2000-IM-8P-T1E1 and CTP2000-IM-8P-xx cards. In the CTP2000 series, it may be necessary to upgrade the voice support files if present. During any of the archive interactive upgrade following two options has to be selected on triggering upgrade command on console.
