Install WorkZone Meeting WORKZONE MEETING PREREQUISITES Before you install WorkZone Meeting 2017, make sure that the following products are installed: Microsoft.NET Framework 4.5 Runtime (Download from Microsoft s website). Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (Download from Microsoft s website). Important: On the server, you need to install WorkZone Meeting Server INSTALL WORKZONE MEETING Prerequisite: To install WorkZone Meeting, you must have administrative rights. Classic installation 1. Double-click the WorkZone Meeting.msi file. Click Run. The WorkZone Meeting Setup wizard is displayed. 2. Click Next. The Welcome to the WorkZone Meeting Setup Wizard - Welcome page is displayed. 3. Click Next. The End-User License Agreement page is displayed. 4. Read the license agreement, select the I accept the terms in the License Agreement check box, and then click Next. The Service Address page is displayed. 5. On the Ready to Install WorkZone Meeting page, click Next. 6. After installation, click Finish on the WorkZone Meeting Setup Wizard Completed page. 5

6 WorkZone Meeting 2017 Silent installation Execute the following command: msiexec /i "<PATH>\WorkZone Meeting.msi" /lv*x install.log /qn SERVERURL=<server_url> where: <PATH> is the location of the WorkZone Meeting.msi file. <SERVERURL> is the URL to Web Services. UNINSTALL WORKZONE MEETING Prerequisite: To uninstall WorkZone Meeting, you must have administrative rights. To uninstall WorkZone Meeting, you must: Run the WorkZone Meeting.msi file and then select Remove in the WorkZone Meeting Setup wizard. -Or- Open Programs and Features, right-click WorkZone Meeting, and then select Remove. 6

7 4. WorkZone Meeting Server installation Administrator's Guide Installing WorkZone Meeting Server is a prerequisite for successful deployment of WorkZone Meeting. The server contains all server configurations required for WorkZone Meeting to run. WORKZONE MEETING SERVER PREREQUISITES To install WorkZone Meeting Server, you must have administrative rights on the installation environment (the web server). The following program must be installed prior to the installation of WorkZone Meeting Server: WorkZone Content Server 2017 Microsoft.Net Framework 4.5 INSTALL WORKZONE MEETING SERVER 1. Double-click the WorkZone Meeting Server.msi file. The Open file Security Warning dialog box is displayed. 2. Click Run. The WorkZone Meeting Server Setup wizard is displayed. 3. Click Next. The End-User License Agreement (EULA) page is displayed. Read the terms and conditions, and select the I accept the terms in the license Agreement check box. 4. Click Next. The Meeting module registration page is displayed. Enter the DSN name, which is the name of the Oracle database where the WorkZone Content Server is installed, and then enter the user name and the password to the database. 7

8 WorkZone Meeting Click Next. The Ready to install WorkZone Meeting Server page is displayed. 6. Click Install. After installation, the Completed Setup Wizard page is displayed. 7. Click Finish. Silent installation Execute the following command: msiexec /i \"WorkZone Meeting Server.msi" /lv*x install.log /qn DBDSN=<db_ name> DBUSER=<user> DBPSWD=<password> where: <db_name> is the name of the Oracle database where the WorkZone Content Server is installed. <user> and <password> are the credentials for the Oracle database. UNINSTALL MEETING SERVER 1. Open Control Panel> Programs and Features. 2. Run the WorkZone Meeting Server application. 3. On the WorkZone Meeting Server Setup page, click Remove. You will be asked to provide the database DSN name, user name, and password. 4. Click Remove. 8
