Preface Background Purpose Target audience This document provides an overview of new features and changed functionality in ScanJour WorkZone Content Server 2013 SP1 and ScanJour Captia Web Client 4.6 SP1 released September 2, It lists the issues that have been resolved and informs about known issues and possible workarounds. The purpose of this document is to inform current and future users of the content of the release. The target audience of this document is all current and future users of the WorkZone Content Server and Captia Web Client release who want to get an overview of new features and changes in this release. 6 2. Introduction About this document This document gives an overview of WorkZone Content Server 2013 SP1 and Captia Web Client 4.6 SP1. New Features and Changed Functionality Describes new features and important changes in the release. Fixed in this Release Lists the customer reported issues and other issues that have been fixed in this release. Known Issues and Workarounds Lists known issues in the release and possible workarounds to them. Product documentation Provides an overview of documentation delivered with this release. 7 3. New Features and Changed Functionality Introduction This section describes the new features and important changed functionality in this release of WorkZone Content Server and Captia Web Client. For detailed information, see the product documentation. This release includes new features and a number of corrections to customer reported issues. For more information, see Fixed in this Release WorkZone Configuration Management Draft versioning Draft versioning It is now possible to enable draft versioning for documents with the state UÅ (Draft) or UP (Personal draft). Draft versioning is used in WorkZone for Office and WorkZone Process. For more information on how to enable and configure it, see the WorkZone Configuration Management online help WorkZone Configuration Management Log on from another domain Log on from another domain It is now possible to log in to WorkZone Configuration Management from clients outside the domain where WorkZone Configuration Management is installed. You can now specify user name, password, and domain in the logon screen. For more information, see the ScanJour WorkZone Configuration Management Installation Guide OData Document entity has a new format OData Document entity The Document entity now has a new key format. Previously, it had multiple properties as part of the key. This has been changed to a single property the RecordID. This change is implemented to support the new draft versioning feature where one of the current properties (the DocumentID external_doc_id) is allowed to change as part of the versioning mechanism. The change affects existing links to documents. For existing code, you must update your service reference and recompile WorkZone Content Server documentation is now online Online documentation You can now find the WorkZone Content Server documentation on the ScanJour website, see ScanJour Dokumentation. With the exception of the online help for WorkZone Configuration Management, Captia Web Client, and Serverskan, which are installed with the products, the documentation is no longer part of the installation. 8 4. Desupported Features Introduction This section lists features that have been desupported or are planned to be desupported Workflow Workflow Workflow functionality is no longer supported. The functionality has been replaced with WorkZone Process. For more information on WorkZone Process, refer to the ScanJour web site Crystal Reports Crystal Reports By the end of 2014, Crystal Report will no longer be supported. It will be replaced by another reporting tool that will work across the WorkZone products. Until a replacement tool is provided, reporting is only available from Captia Web Client Developer Guides and Reference Guides WorkZone Content Server and Captia developer guides and Reference guides The developer and reference guides are no longer in the documentation package. Going forward, OData will be the developer platform offered by ScanJour. See for more information about OData. Release Notes Page 8 19

Fixed in this Release Introduction The following customer reported issues have been reported and fixed in this release CAP It is not possible to select Access code in a document s document references in the Field selector In the three Document references lists, it is not possible to select a number of columns to display, for example Access Code. Now the column sets are aligned CAP Not possible to multi edit on a closed case It is in general not allowed to edit field values on a closed case. Editing of the case handler on a closed case should be allowed. it is now allowed to edit the case handler on a closed case CAP Changes in metadata on documents are not saved if the document is in an error queue An error marked document in the FIX queue is preventing the metadata for the record to be processed in the FIX queue CAP Shortcut key CTRL+S does not work in Internet Explorer 9 when saving a list If you set a list in Edit mode and leave the Edit mode with CTRL + S (to Save), the list content is saved correctly but afterwards Internet Explorer opens the Save webpage dialog box. 10 CAP DOC: Error at merging when custom labels contain prefixed numbers Custom labels must NOT be prefixed with numbers. This information is now included in the WorkZone Configuration Management online help CAP Personnel case - inconvenience (date fields filled in) When adding employment to an employee s case, the date fields Employed from and Employed to are set to today's date. The two date fields are now left blank CAP Case classification group view case class If a case classification group at the top level has a very long name, the Class Selection dialog box gets scrollbars and you cannot directly see the OK and Cancel buttons CAP Multi editing address line 2 and 3 removes the address type HA. When using Replace for the fields Address line 1, 2, or 3 in multiedit, the Address type field is left blank CAP Captia Web Client leaves documents in the TEMPfolder on clients The document integration in Captia Web Client leaves files in the %TEMP% folder. All files with the name SJ20*.* are deleted immediately after use, except files produced when using "Quick" save for outgoing mails. By default, these files will be deleted after two days. Note that all temporary files for Captia document integration are now saved in %TEMP%\ScanJour\Captia. Release Notes Page 10 19
11 CAP On the case details page the label for the Class field is displayed twice - "Class Class" at closure of a case On the details page displayed for a closed case, the Class label is shown twice CAP Error at creation of personnel case due to the character # in the Address field An employee with an address line containing a # character cannot be used to create a personnel case. An error occurs when trying to attach the employee CAP The desktop case is locked for updates if user rights are restricted to a single case class The Desktop case is locked for editing when the user rights are restricted through Users > Case Permission in WorkZone Configuration Management CAP SOM: Hanging transactions can block other processes due to a locking issue in license_usage Hanging transactions can block other processes due to a locking issue in the license_usage table CAP The record driver changes the state when you specify a record state on a barcode sheet On the register record, the XDI service sets the field state ='UL' regardless of what is specified in sjfesdpacket.xml. 12 CAP Docintegration makes Microsoft Outlook unstable when checking mails in the Inbox Outlook may become unstable after checking unread SJ marked and new mails. The ScanJour addin now checks unread SJ marked and new mails in the same thread as the user interface and not as before in the background, which may lead to unstable behavior of Outlook CAP Docintegration: Excel Export sometimes fails when WorkZone for Office is installed Excel Export sometimes fails to start Excel CAP DOC: Online help is wrong: Delete documents with the state UL The online help describes that it is possible to delete documents with the state UL. The topic "Document - State" in the online help has been corrected CAP Lack of index on record_audit (file_key) for the standard list "Document history" on a case ERROR The standard list "Record history" on a case opens very slowly. An index is created on record_audit(file_key) and this way a full table scan on record_audit is avoided CCM CCM: Unclear required fields in CCM that you cannot tab out of If you create a new address type and do not fill in all required fields, and the last edited field is left by pressing Enter instead of Tab, you run in to problems afterwards, when you click Save. The cursor is placed in a new empty line, and in this field the red cursor is shown which indicates that you need to fill in a field. WORKAROUND: To avoid the empty line and misplaced error cursor, do as follows: Release Notes Page 12 19
13 1. Enter a character in the field where the cursor is. Now the red cursor disappears. 2. Select the entire line and press Delete. Now the empty line is deleted. 3. Click Save again. Now the red error cursor is shown correctly and indicates that a value is missing CCM CCM: End date cannot be deleted in Custom Label The content of a date field may be erased by forcing focus to the field (clicking in it) and then pressing Delete, but the visual content of the field is not cleared before you tab out of the field. This is confusing to the user. Now, pressing Delete in a date field clears the field. You still need to press Tab to leave the field to effectuate the delete CCM CCM: ScanJour owned fields disappear at sorting Rows that are read-only, for example if they represent ScanJour system entries, loose their read-only property if column sorting is applied CCM CCM: Menu item must be removed WorkZone Configuration Management shows a menu item, Tests, which should not appear. The menu item is removed. Release Notes Page 13 19
14 6. Known Issues and Workarounds Description If you run Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit and Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and you have switched off Compatibility View for both websites and intranet sites, you cannot register documents from the context menu in Windows Explorer. Workaround Switch on Compatibility View in Internet Explorer (Tools > Compatibility View) for intranet sites, and then you can register documents from Windows Explorer. Release Notes Page 14 19
