5 Applicability This integration guide is applicable to: CRYPTOCard Server Authentication Server Version BlackShield ID Small Business Edition 1.2+ Professional Edition 2.3+ Assumptions BlackShield ID has been configured within the System Admin tab, and you are ready to assign tokens to an available non secured user Operation The USB MP token is imported into the BlackShield ID server using a BTK file. After the token has been imported into the server, you can use the assignment tab to assign the tokens to a non secured user. Preparation and Prerequisites ) You have the pre-initialized USB MP token data file. This file has an extension of.btk Usage BTK token file import concept The USB MP tokens are unique from all other tokens, in the sense that you cannot initialize the tokens yourself. You have to load pre-initialized token data in the form of a file with a BTK file extension. This file contains all the necessary token data which corresponds with one or more tokens which you have purchased. After the file has been loaded into the server, you will see your new USB MP tokens in the available token list, and can assign the tokens to any user in the assignment tab BlackShield ID token guide for USB MP 4

6 Importing BTK Token Files 0. Open the BlackShield ID manager console and login using an operator account. 0. Click on the assignment tab 0. At the bottom of the screen, click the Browse button. 0. Navigate to the location of your BTK pre-initialized token data file. You have the option of selecting the Apply Server-side PIN Policy check box. If this box is checked when you import the tokens, your server side PIN policy will be applied to these tokens. 0. Click the blue import button to the right of the browse button. 0. A new pop up box titled Import Tokens will appear and list the total number of tokens imported, the serial number of each token imported, and the type of token it imported. Then, Click on the close button. 0. You have now imported the tokens into the server and they are ready for use in your server. Generating token codes To generate token codes, simply click the button, and a token code will be displayed on the LCD screen of the token.
