31 Boot Images The boot image contains the files needed to boot the computer and initiate an operating system installation The Windows erver 2008 installation DD includes a boot image file called boot.wim, located in the \ources folder, which loads Windows 2.1 on the client computer. You can use this image file for virtually any operating system deployment without modification DW DW

32 Image Files The image file contains the operating system that WD will install on the client computer. Windows erver 2008 includes an install image in the \ources folder on the installation DD as well, called install.wim. This file performs a standard Windows erver 2008 setup, just as if you used the DD to perform a manual DW installation. DW
