1 End-to-End Process Diagram (E2E) Change Proposal Form E2E CP No (assigned by MRASCo): E2E CP20040 Version: Version 0.1 E2E Version Version 9.2 Originator: MRASCo Date Raised: 11 July 2002 Originator Reference: CHANGE PROPOSAL TITLE: Modify the Energisation process as shown in the E2E diagrams and create the corresponding Golden Thread (Process diagram) Attachments Supplied? DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE As part of the ongoing MRASCo programme to add Golden Threads (Process Diagrams) to the E2E Model, the Energisation process is being drafted. Following discussion at IREG it was agreed that the Activity diagrams representing this process need revising to clarify the way the process is described. This change proposal describes those changes needed to clarify the Activity Diagram and also shows the Process Diagram (Golden Thread) based on those changes. Details of the change are provided in the attached Annex BUSINESS JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE To ensure consistency between Industry documentation IMPACT ASSESSMENT (Identify any organisations impacted by this change, associated changes required, a proposed implementation date and technique. Guidelines for suggesting implementation dates: 6 months min for changes impacting systems and software; 4 months min for changes impacting operational procedures; or 2 months min for changes to documentation only ). Proposed Implementation date: E2E Release for the end of August/early September

2 The detail of E2E CP20040 Energisation is described in the following pages: Section 1 describes the changes required in order to modify how the Energisation process is represented in the Hierarchical End to End diagrams Section 2 describes the changes required to add Energisation process to the Process Diagrams (Golden Threads) Section 1 The tables below describe the changes required to the Hierarchical E2E diagrams in order to modify the Energisation process. This is divided into three subsections section 1.1 describes the new and modified Activities required, section 1.2 describes the new and modified Flows required and section 1.3 the new and modified Gateways required. Following section 1.3 there are a number of pages showing the Activity Diagrams incorporating the changes shown in Sections 1.1 to NEW AND DIFIED ACTIVITIES Descriptions of the new and modified Hierarchy Activities required to support E2E CP20040 are shown below: Ref is the reference number of the particular part of the change. These numbers are used solely to support this change proposal Page indicates the page of the E2E diagrams where the change will be made Activity ID is the unique reference number for that particular Activity as shown on the attached Activity diagrams. (Please note that in the case of new Activities, when this CP is implemented within the E2Es, MRASCo can make no guarantee that the same ID number will be used as these numbers are automatically generated in the model at the time of their insertion. These ID numbers are therefore provided here only for guidance). Status indicates whether the Activity is New, Modified or Deleted. Participant Role indicates who performs the associated activity Activity Name is the name of the activity that will appear on the diagrams Activity Description is the details of the Activity that will appear either via the Info Box or via the Inspect Report Page 2 of 45 E2E CP20040 Energisation: Version 0.1

21 Section 2 The tables below describe the changes required to add an Energisation process diagram (Golden Thread) to the E2Es. This is divided into three subsections Section 2.1 describes the new Activities required, Section 2.2 describes the Compliance Information associated with each new Process Activity, Section 2.3 describes the new Flows required and Section 2.4 the new Gateways required. Following section 2.4 there are a number of pages showing the Process Diagram incorporating the changes shown in Sections 2.1 to NEW PROCESS ACTIVITIES Descriptions of the new and modified Process Activities required to support E2E CP20040 are shown below: Ref is the reference number of the particular part of the change. These numbers are used solely to support this change proposal Activity ID is the unique reference number for that particular Activity as shown on the attached Process diagram. (Please note that when this CP is implemented within the E2Es MRASCo can make no guarantee that the same ID number will be used as these numbers are automatically generated in the model at the time of their insertion. These ID numbers are therefore provided here only for guidance).
