3 Installation Downloading Download NetAdvantage for SharePoint here. Installation prerequisites Before you install NetAdvantage for SharePoint, make sure you have the following: Prerequisite Security admin server role access on the SQL instance and a db_owner role in a database Administrative permission on the local computer SharePoint Administration service running SQL Server SharePoint instance running Internet Explorer 6.0 or above installed or Mozilla FireFox 1.5 or above installed Description db_owner role in the SharePoint content database and Security Admin Server role access on the SharePoint SQL instance Administrative permissions on the computer where NetAdvantage for SharePoint is being installed Used to perform administrative tasks for SharePoint An instance of the SQL Server running the SharePoint content database A web browser compatible with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Troubleshooting Following is a summary of the known issues that can be encountered during installation: 3 of 10

4 Issue Description Proposed Fix Error Message: Error occurred in deployment step Activate Features: Cannot start service SPUserCodeV4 on computer <servername>. Error Message: Error occurred in deployment step Activate Features: This feature cannot be activated at this time. The contents of the feature's solution requires the Solution Sandbox service to be running The SPUserCodeV4 service is not set to be started automatically or your account does not have access to start the service. Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code Service is not started in the Central Administration. Enable (if disabled) and then start the SPUserCodeV4 service. In SharePoint Central Administration, under System Settings, start Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code service. 4 of 10

New item Type Description Grid Web part The Infragistics SharePoint Grid is a data presentation web part able to connect to a SharePoint list or External Content Type, retrieving its data. The user can process the data in various ways such as grouping, sorting, inline editing and more. Map Projection Feature Support for various projection types used to visualize custom coordinate systems and shapes, such as Balhasart, Berhmann, Lambert, Mercator, Oblique Mercator, and more. 8 Release Notes Concerned web parts Improvements and bug fixes Following are the bug fixes and improvements in the release. They concern the following web parts: Feature Icons Installers Map Version Timeline Component Product Impact Description Feature Icons Bug Fix In Site Collections Features, after features were deactivated and then activated again, Feature icons for Infragistics web parts were missing. Now fixed. Installers Bug Fix When you had installed the NetAdvantage for SharePoint trial and then run the installer again, the installer's final screen was blank. Now fixed. 8 of 10

9 Map Improvement When there were two layers and one of them was disabled, its legend was still showing on the map. Now fixed. Version Timeline Bug Fix The text for rejecting a pending approvement in a document library with active major versioning was incorrect saying Unpublish this version instead of Reject this version. Now fixed. Version Timeline Bug Fix Version Timeline was not accessible from a computer with regional settings different from the settings of the computer on which the file has been uploaded. Now fixed. Version Timeline Bug Fix When the Version Timeline was initiated for a list located on a different web site than the current one, an unhandled exception was thrown preventing the Timeline from being opened. Yes, you can configure your web parts to load data from external sources. The Chart, the Gauge, and the Map can use Microsoft Excel as their data source.
