15 Closing Thoughts The single most important thing you can do is: BACKUP! regularly, regularly, regularly. Whether you use DVDs, thumb drives, hard drives (best is a combination) just do a Full disc so all your programs and settings are saved. A crashed PC is no time to be rummaging thru boxes looking for installation discs and serial numbers. Then you can recover the current data. your data regularly: do you really want to lose those precious pictures, quilt patterns, music, or scanned copies or anything of value to you? Whether you use the free Windows or opt for some additional flexibility and protection of a commercial program, neither is any good if you don t use it. It does not take long to do the setup and put it on automatic. How to recover was not covered today, but having a will help FLS help you. That is how to save your sanity.
