3 About SBF eportal About SBF eportal The SBF eportal was created as part of the Singapore Business Federation s (SBF) efforts to provide more value-added services to our members. The eportal is an integrated membership portal to facilitate online payments and enables users to preview and register upcoming events online. The eportal is open to both SBF members and non-members. By creating an account in the eportal, members and nonmembers can register online for events for their companies. By creating an account with SBF, users also able to view the latest SBF events and register online. If you encounter any issue with your account, please to mr@sbf.org.sg with your details as well as screenshots for assistance in resolving the issue quickly. *Note: * The eportal is best viewed with the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 9 or above. 3 P a g e

4 Creating a User Account Creating a User Account 1. Log on to and click on Member Login. 2. Click on Create a new account. 4 P a g e

5 Creating a User Account 3. You will be redirected to the following registration page: 5 P a g e

6 Creating a User Account 4. Fill in your particulars in the fields provided. When completed, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Save. Your First Name refers to your given name, and your Last Name refers to your family name/surname. In this example, the individual s full name is Tan Kiam Beng Andy. His first name would be Kiam Beng, Andy. His last name would be Tan. If you have a middle name, please fill in the Middle Name field. Otherwise, you can leave it blank. Note: Please provide an active address as important information such as invoices and temporary passwords will be sent to this address. For the Primary Organisation field, enter your company s name and select your company s name from the drop down list. If your company is not listed here, this would mean that your company is not a member of the SBF. In this case, please proceed to manually enter your company s details. For Address, please enter the billing address of your company. Note: Please tag your company s name correctly and be careful not to click on subsidiaries or companies with similar names. Incorrect tagging of your company s name may result in incorrect event fees charged. 6 P a g e

7 Creating a User Account 5. When completed, you will be redirected to the page shown below. Click on Continue. 6. You may now start using your SBF account after you have signed in. 7 P a g e

8 Updating Personal Particulars Updating Personal Particulars 1. Log on to and click on Member Login. 2. Enter your username and password and click on Sign In. 8 P a g e

9 Updating Personal Particulars 3. Click on your name under Your Profile as shown in the red highlighted box. 4. Click on the pencil icons next to the fields of My Profile, My Details or My Addresses to update the respective information. You can also upload a profile picture for your account by clicking on the pencil icon at the top left hand corner of the screen. 9 P a g e

10 Updating Personal Particulars 5. You may also choose to add an additional address to your account for future transactions. To do so, click on the plus icon under My Addresses. 6. Enter your new address in the fields provided and click on Save & Close. You can set this new address to be your preferred mailing, shipping or billing address by ticking the relevant boxes at the top right hand corner. 10 P a g e

11 Retrieving Account Information Retrieving Account Information To check for an existing account or to retrieve username 1. Log on to and click on Member Login. 2. Click on my username. 11 P a g e

12 Retrieving Account Information 3. Enter your address specified in your user account and click on Submit. An containing your username will be sent to this address, which implies you have an existing account. You can then proceed to sign in with your password. 4. If you receive an error message shown below, it means your account was not created with the address keyed in. If so, please proceed to Create an Account on Page P a g e

14 Retrieving Account Information 3. Enter your address in the Username field provided in the pop-up box and click Submit. A temporary password will be ed to you. You can then sign in and change your password. 4. If you still encounter issues with the username/password, please to mr@sbf.org.sg for support. 14 P a g e

15 Registering for Events Registering for Events Via Members Login Page 1. Log on to and click on Member Login. Click here to check if you have an existing account, or if you have forgotten your username or password. 2. Enter your username and password and click on Sign In. 15 P a g e

16 Registering for Events 3. Under Activities, select the event category (Events, Training or Business Missions) from the drop down list provided. 4. A list of events listed under your selected event category will be shown. Once you have located the event, click on the event title. 16 P a g e

Alternatively, you can search for your event by clicking on Activities in Step Under the Search box, enter your event title or any keyword of the event that you are looking for. Click on Go to search for your event. Once you have located the event, click on the event title. 17 P a g e

18 Registering for Events 7. To register yourself for the selected event, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Register Myself (see Fig.1). Proceed to Step 8. If you choose to register for another registrant (only available on certain events), please click on Register Colleague and fill in the intended registrant s particulars in the fields provided. When completed, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Save & Close (see Fig.2). Proceed to Step 8. Fig.1 Fig.2 18 P a g e

19 Registering for Events 8. On this page, scroll to the bottom of the page and verify the list of Registrants. When completed, click on Proceed to Checkout. 9. Confirm the details of your event and the total cost. If you decide not to attend the event, you can click on Remove button on the top right hand corner. 19 P a g e

There are two payment methods i.e. by credit/debit card (Visa or MasterCard only) or by cheque. 10(i)Credit Card Select the Pay Now option and enter your credit card details including the billing address. Click on Submit Order/Registration. 10(ii) Cheque Select the Pay Via Cheque option and enter NONE under PO Number then click on Submit Order/Registration. An invoice and more details of your transaction will then be sent to the address you have registered under the eportal. 20 P a g e

21 Registering for Events 11. When the transaction is completed, an Order Confirmation page will appear. An confirming this transaction will also be sent to you. If you choose to send a copy of this transaction to another address, please enter the address in the Send another copy to field shown below and click Send. 21 P a g e

22 Registering for Events Registering For Events Via SBF Corporate Website Alternatively, you may register for SBF events via the corporate website at 1. Log on to and click on Activities. 2. Select the event category from the list provided on the right side of the screen. 22 P a g e

23 Registering for Events 3. A list of events listed under your selected event category will be shown. Once you have located the event, click on the event title. 4. Alternatively, you can search for your event by clicking on View all Activities in Step P a g e

24 Registering for Events 5. Under the Search box, enter your event title or any keywords of the event that you are looking for. Click on Go to search for your event. Once you have located the event, click on the event title. 6. To register for the event, scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your account details in the required fields and click Sign In. Upon signing in, please refer to Step 7. of Registering for Events (via Members Login) on page 18 on the registration procedures. 24 P a g e

25 Registering for Events Verification of Company s Membership with SBF 1. Log on to Under Membership, click on Membership Directory. Note: It is not necessary to sign in. 2. To search for your company s membership, please complete one of the following fields: Membership Number, Company Name Containing or Industry Group from the drop down list. Click on Find.
