3 BIM VISION A FREEWARE MODEL VIEWER BIM Vision is a freeware model viewer. It allows to view the virtual models coming from systems like Revit, Archicad, Advance, DDS CAD, Tekla, Nemetschek VectorWorks, Bentley, BricsCAD, Allplan and others without necessity of having commercial licenses of these systems or having each of particular vendor s viewer. BIM Vision visualizes the BIM models created in format 2 3 and 4. It has many built-in features and is the first viewer with plugin interface. BIM VISION FOR WHOM? 5 BIM VISION PLUGINS ADVANCED REPORTS The plugin enables development of advanced reports. Select model elements (all / selected / visible) and properties that you want to analyze. Define the way of grouping and summing. Now you can save the file in.xlsx (Excel) format. COMMENTS / BCF BCF The main idea of the plugin is to create a workflow communication capability connected to models and improving collaboration between the all parties involved in the investment process. Currently we support also BIM Collaboration Format (BCF v1). MODULE MULTIFILE This BIM Vision module allows to load and view multiple files in one view. OBJECT INFO This BIM Vision extension allows you to search, group, filter and choose objects by name, type or property. 4

6 BIM VISION PLUGINS GALLERY This BIM Vision extension lets you save and load custom views, change the colors of elements, and easily capture screenshots from the current view. PREVIEW Plugin installs in system preview handler. When you select an file, it displays its preview in Windows Explorer preview pane. STL EXPORTER STL This plugin adds button in ribbon tab PLUGINS where you can export geometry from in STL format (ie. for printing 3D). MTS PLUGIN MTS This BIM Vision extension allows to group objects depending on items state or from data that comes from external CSV files. You can view, select, change visibility and color of each group. You can also edit groups and assign elements to them in BIM Vision. 5
