2 Page 2 of 9 Application: Scales in the CE, CE-H, CE-II, K Series and KScale Pad may be used for direct sale to the public, or for prepackaging weighing and labeling and certain models may be set-up as self-serve scales. See model descriptions on Page 3. Identification: The identification plate for the CE, CE-H, and CE II Series are located on the left side, K Series at the rear of the scale and the KScale Pad has the identification label under the platform. Models CE 400, CE-H 400, CE II 400 and K 400 (suspended version) have their ID label on the rear of the customer s side of the scale. Options: All models come standard as 30 x 0.01 lb version scales, as an option any scale covered under this CC can be set up and calibrated to 15 x lb (using load cell WS 18 load cell) or to 60 x 0.02 lb and 60 x 0.01 lb (using the WS 36 load cell) version, if this is done all scale markings must be changed to match this optional capacity and division size. All 30 lb and 60 lb scales can be programmed and marked as multi-interval scales, with a 0-15 x lb / x 0.01 lb and 0-30 x 0.01 lb / lb x 0.02 lb weighing range. All these scales must have properly marked displays and corresponding ID labels. All models in the 100 and 200 model category may be used with an optional fish platter assembly. These scales include those in the CE, CE-H, CE II and K series. All devices can have a printer to print on linerless paper. An optional fish platter assembly can be mounted on models 100 and 200. An optional cash drawer could be connected to all scale models. Keyboard Features: CE 500, CE-H 500 and K 500 Series keyboards can be changed from 48 to 96 keys with the self-serve operation and optional to 192 keys with oversized PLU keys using an additional keyboard. Optional keys for self-serve and quick serve operations: 24 large keys placed over 84 key keyboard for commodity names. The 400 Series (suspended scale) can be configured to a 96 key quick serve keyboard or to a 48 key self-serve keyboard with oversized PLU keys for commodity names. Scales in the CE, CE-H, CE II and K Series have the same non-ntep load cell (WS 12, WS 18 and WS 36) and A/D, which was previously evaluated under Certificate of Conformance Number CE Series: Windows CE with flash memory upgraded to 1 GB and higher. Optional screen saver advertising display. These scales have the option of offering screen saver advertising displays. The customer's display may have an integrated advertising display, which does no effect scale information. The larger operator's display may be programmed with a full screen advertisement as a screen saver. Scales having this feature as an option must have a statement adjacent to the display, "Screen saver indicates this scale is at Zero" or similar statement. CE-H Series: Same as CE series, Windows CE with 2 GB Hard drive upgraded to 40 GB and higher. CE II Series: Same as CE series, Linux or Windows XP operating system with 60 GB Hard drive and higher, dual printer option for recipe, cooking instructions and coupons (Flash memory capability). K Series: Same as CE II series, Linux or Windows XP operating system with 120 GB Hard drive or higher, dual printer option for recipe, cooking instructions and coupons as well as other product information and a 7" or 12.1" color customer display. Adding the K Flex, which is a modular version of the KH series and is pole mounted with the following modules:12.1 operator touch screen, a 7" or 12.1" customer LCD display or only operator touch display for self-serve option, printer, scale Type 18 A or the KF scale. The device can also operate without a load receptor and is used as a printing device only. The current version number can be found by hit the Set Up button and then the Version button. (as I showed you we do not need this, because you hold down on the window above the Tare for 10 seconds and it will give you the version) All Devices: All scales can be set up and used in a cash register mode which requires a tape or liner less printer, accumulated items are itemized and could be connected to a cash drawer.

KF II and KF (K Flex) is a Pole mounted modular device with 12.1" operator touch screen, optional 15 operator ELO Multi touch screen, a 7" or 12.1" customer LCD display or operator touch display for self-serve option, printer, scale Type 18 A, a KF scale or a KScale Pad scale. The device can also operate without a load receptor and is used as a printing device only with either the KF printer with an external thermal printer or with both printers. 8. KScale Pad is a device that must be permanently mounted to the counter.

4 Page 4 of 9 Sealing: Seal all scales, except model 400 suspended models, by removing the weighing platter and threading a wire security seal through a sealing screw and a rectangle tab located in a silver or gray holding bracket. These scales may be set up to be sealed using a pressure sensitive seal. This type of seal may be placed over the "torx head" screw (if present) preventing its removal. Either method of sealing prevent a bracket from being removed which allows access to an internal calibration switch or jumper (either device may be used). Once a scale is placed in the calibration mode, the scale will stay in the calibration mode until the jumper is removed or the switch is placed in the opposite position. Seal all the suspended models: CE 400, CE-II 400, CE-H 400 and K 400 series using a wire security seal through a hole in a special hex-head screw and a tab in the scale s frame (See sealing pictures at the end of this certificate). These scales will only operate (normal weighing operation), if the jumper or the switch is in the non-calibration position. Operation: These scales have one operator key (print key) standard. Operator's keys (print keys) may be increased up to 99 keys. Non-weighed items may be entered by pressing the non-weight key prior to the item price. The weight and unit price displays blank out when the non-weight key is pressed. The accumulation function does not operate when PLU's are used. PLU's may be entered directly or by entering a two to six digit code through the numeric keypad. Tare values can be programmed with PLU's or entered manually. The CE and K Series has a prepack mode to retain a unit price and tare value for repeated use. Scales in the CE and K Series may be set up as self-serve scales with either, a tactile keyboard or pedestal touch screen display. Customers may place an item on the scale and issue their own label. These scales may be programmed to display advertising information as screen savers, when not in use. Scales having this feature as an option must have a statement adjacent to the display, "Screen saver indicates this scale is at zero" or similar statement. Test Conditions: This Certificate supersedes Certificate of Conformance Number A6 and is issued to ad a 60 lb x 0.01 lb device to the KH II family of devices. A Bizerba model KH II 100 with a Bizerba WS kg load cell was submitted for this evaluation. The emphasis of this evaluation was on device design, marking requirements, operation and compliance with environmental factors. This device was tested over a temperature range of -10 C to 40 C. A load of approximately one-half capacity was applied to the device over times. Several increasing/decreasing load tests were performed and shift tests conducted during this period. No additional testing was deemed necessary. Previous test conditions are listed below for reference. Certificate of Conformance Number A6: This Certificate supersedes Certificate of Conformance Number A5 and is issued to add the multi-interval capacity of 0-30 lb x 0.01 lb/ lb x 0.02 lb scale to the KH II family. A model Bizerba KH II 100 with a WS 36 load cell was submitted for this evaluation. The emphasis of this evaluation was on device design, marking requirements, operation and compliance with environmental factors. This device was tested over a temperature range of -10 C to 40 C. Tests to verify compliance with zero, zone of uncertainty and motion detection requirements were performed as well as price computations and printed tickets. A load of approximately one-half capacity was applied to the device over times. Several increasing/decreasing load tests were performed and shift tests conducted during this period. The device was tested with a supply voltage of 100 to 130 VAC. Certificate of Conformance Number A5: This Certificate supersedes Certificate of Conformance Number A4 and is issued to add the KF II to the K family of scales. The KF II is exactly the same as the K flex and KH series, the only difference is a larger different display has been added. The emphasis of this evaluation was on device design, marking requirements, operation and print formats. No additional testing was deemed necessary. Certificate of Conformance Number A4: This Certificate supersedes Certificate of Conformance Number A3 and is issued to add the KScale Pad to this family and to add the KH II and to address the sealing feature of the KH II which replaces the KH model. The KH II is exactly the same as the KH but the display had been changed. The model KScale Pad was submitted for this evaluation. The emphasis of this evaluation was on device design, marking requirements, operation and compliance with environmental factors. A multi-interval model was submitted with a capacity and division of 0-15 lb x and 30 by 0.01 lb. This device was tested over a temperature range of -10 C to 40 C. Tests to verify compliance with zero, zone of uncertainty and motion detection requirements were performed as well as price computations and printed tickets. A load of approximately one-half capacity was applied to the device over times. Several increasing/decreasing load tests were performed and shift tests conducted during this period. The device was tested with a supply voltage of 100 to 130 VAC. Certificate of Conformance Number A3: This Certificate supersedes Certificate of Conformance Number A2 and is issued to add the once feature to the K series. A Model Bizerba Type 18-A (NTEP Certificate of Conformance Number ) was

The evaluation concentrated on the scale s displays, capacity by division statements, proper rounding of tare values and information on the identification label, mathematical agreement and printed receipt formats Certificate of Conformance Number A2: This Certificate supersedes Certificate of Conformance Number A1 and is issued to add the model OEM to the K series. A sample model of the K-OEM was submitted to the lab to review the PC based operating system. The evaluation concentrated on the scale s displays, capacity by division statements, proper rounding of tare values and information on the identification label. Certificate of Conformance Number A1: This Certificate supersedes Certificate of Conformance Number and is issued to add the model KFlex model to the certificate. A sample scale model K Flex with a Type 18 A and KF scale was submitted to the lab to review and evaluate the multi-interval programming. The evaluation concentrated on the scale s displays, capacity by division statements, proper rounding of tare values and information on the identification label. The scales were tested over a temperature range of -10 C to 40 C (14 F to 104 F). A load of approximately 1/2 capacity was applied to the scale over times. Tests were conducted periodically over this time. After the permanence tests were completed, the shift test, discrimination and zone of uncertainty test were repeated. Certificate of Conformance Number : This Certificate is issued to separate and cover only "PC based" model scales that are listed on and traceable to Certificate of Conformance A7. In addition, two new model scales K-M and K-H have also been added to the certificate. Theses scales have the same load cell, load cell support structure, weighing platter and A to D as previously evaluated for model CE-II. Additionally, scales that were previously list as single interval models (30 lb x 0.01 lb) have now been listed as having multi-interval capabilities (0-15/15-30 lb, d = 0.005, / 0.01 lb. The multi-interval option was allowed based on previous evaluation results conducted in expanded resolution of a 15 lb x lb ( d) and a 30 x lb ( d) scale which use the same load cell. A sample scale model K-H 100 scale was submitted to the lab to review and evaluate the multi-interval programming.
