3 IV Maintenance and Notes 1. To guarantee the clarity and life of the indicator, this device shouldn't be used under direct sunlight and should be placed in room temperature area. 2. The indicator should be placed away from dense dust and moist environments. 3. Load cell should be securely connected to the indicator, and the system should be positioned safely. They should be kept away from strong electric and magnetic fields, corrosive objects, as well as flammable and explosive materials.! Do not use this device in an environment with flammable gas or steam. Pressure vessel canned system is prohibited.! If placed in severe thunderstorm environments, a mounted lightning rod is required to assure the safety of the operator and avoid damage to the indicator and relevant devices.! Load cell and indicator are electrostatic sensitive devices; anti-static measures must be performed during operation. Anti-static and anti-conductive matting is required. It is prohibited to perform electric wielding and other strong electric field operations. 4. It is prohibited to clean the case of indicator with strong corrosive chemicals (such as, benzene and acidic lubricants) 5. Do not pour liquid or other conducting particles into the indicator, in order to avoid electric hazards or damage to the indicator. 6. Power supply of the indicator and relevant devices must be turned off before plugging or unplugging the connecting line of indicator and peripheral devices. Power supply of the indicator must be turned off before plugging or unplugging the connecting line of the load cell. 6 III Operation 1. Power on and auto zero setting 1. The indicator will execute a " " count down to self-check when turned on. Then it will enter weighing mode. 2. When powered on and loading weight on scale deviates from zero point, but still within zero set range, the indicator will set zero automatically. If out of range, zero point adjustment is required; please recalibrate or reset system. 2. Manual zero setting 1. During weighing mode, if there is an error when not in use, press [Zero] to reset indicator. 2. If the displayed value deviates from zero point, but still within zero-range press [Zero] key to reset. If [Zero] key is invalid, please recalibrate or reset zero parameters. 3. Zero operation is only available when stable indicator is on 3. Tare function When Indicator is in weighing mode and displaying positive weight as stable, press [Tare] key. The indicator will deduct the displayed weight value as tare weight, it then displays net weight as "0", and Tare sign indicator is on. 4. Accumulating function In weighing mode, when the displayed value is positive and stable, press [Accum] key to add the present weight and display the accumulated weight, the accumulate indicator will be on. Press this key again, it will return to weighing mode and the accumulate indicator will turn off. The next accumulating operation must be performed after the weight returns to zero. When the accumulated weight is displayed, press [Func] key to clean the accumulated weight in memory, and press [Accum] to return to weighing mode. If the accumulated weight needs to be checked, please keep the load on platform as zero, then press [Accum] to display the accumulated weight. 5. Counting function In weighing mode, press [Func] to enter counting mode, "count" will show on display. Press [Accum] to display "C00000", and then press [Tare] to move the digit corresponding with the cursor. The number corresponding to the cursor will be increased by one each time after pressing [Zero] key; it will enter counting function after the sample number is inputted and [Accum] is pressed. "0" will be displayed and the counting indicator will be on. Press [Func] key to return to weighing mode. After entering counting mode, "count" will be displayed, press [Accum] twice to enter the counting mode directly. The indicator will display according to the result of the previous sample. (In this process, if the ERR4 appears, it means sampling failed. The indicator will keep the result from the last sample) 6. Users' function setting In weighing mode, hold [Func] for 5 seconds or more, it will then enter operator setting mode (mode P). There are 10 modes from P1 to P10, press [Accum] to choose the mode and press [Tare] to choose the parameter. The description of parameter as follows: 1.
