3 FIXED ISSUES Fixed an issue with the Document Generator export to work with FTP exports (02/19/2014) Updated the portfolio sync to ignore locked portfolio data. It was previously not processing any updates if only some of the records were locked and it now will process inserts and whichever deletes to the portfolio it can before giving up. Any records that it cannot process are recorded in the batch job logs. (03/25/2014) Fixed containment recalculation to suppress a duplicate name message. (05/19/2014) Fixed inspection search in the Asset Explorer to account for type level, when searching by Inspection IDs (07/15/2014) Excluded ACTS O&G reports from Report Scheduler, so that errors will not be logged (08/13/2014) Fixed inspection search in the Asset Explorer to account for type level, when searching by Inspection IDs (07/15/2014) Excluded ACTS O&G reports from Report Scheduler, so that errors will not be logged (08/13/2014) Fixed an issue on the Document Generator page that prevented the removal of old keywords when switching Document Types (9/2014) Fixed an issue in Regulation Synchronization that was preventing ACTS from properly inactivating associations (9/2014) INSTALLATION AND UPGRADE NOTES ***The following Installation and Upgrade Notes are only relevant to clients that host ACTS on internal servers.*** The release is two (2) parts in the following sequence: 1. Run Database Script by Oracle Database Administrator. Login to the ACTS database as user "acts" and run the Ecocion-provided database SQL script. (It is very important to use "acts" user credentials to run the script). The script should takes about 5-minutes to run. Spool the results of the process into a file and send it back to Ecocion Database Administrator (support@ecocion.com) for verification. 2. Run Application Installer by Network and/or Citrix Administrator. To update the application on the batch server, run the Ecocion-provided Application Installer on the batch server. This process usually takes about 5-minutes per server. To update the application on the Citrix server(s), run the Ecocion-provided Application Installer on each of the Citrix server(s). This process usually takes about 5-minutes per server. As with any updates, creating a backup of the database before you run the script is advised. Ecocion has Page 3 ACTS 5.9 Release Notes

7 Added an application setting that limits the size of files that will automatically load in the Asset Explorer. If files exceed the limit, they will not load automatically and the user will need to manually choose the View File option from the right-click menu of the file in the Asset Explorer. This first image shows a file attachment preview of a file below the size requirements; the second image shows a file attachment preview of a file above the size requirements. 9 Batch Job, Data Import, Data Export Changed "Logging Level" label to "Report Logging Level"; Changed "Log Changes" label to "Log Data Changes" in Batch Job, Data Export, and Data Import (05/07/2014) Added "Every X Months" and "Every X Days" Frequency options to Batch Job, Data Export, and Data Import (06/04/2014) Bulk Delete Workorders Added a Bulk Delete Workorder (Administrative) Tool to delete a large number of workorders at once. (07/02/2014) Please contact an ACTS Administrator to have workorders deleted in bulk. Bulk Facility-Person Associations Added the Bulk Facility-Person Associations tool (Tools Utilities Change Data Records Bulk Facility- Person Association). This is used update associations of a person to all facilities by area, portfolio, or counties. (02/23/2014) Note: A facility_person_default table has also been added to log associations in order to use a batch job to persist associations to newly added facilities. Added active_date_default option. When no active date is provided for equipment, changed to default to first use facility active date, then the first day of the current year. It functions similarly to Reports, but has a few differences. 15 Data Validation Added the Data Validation tool (Tools Data Validation). This tool runs SQL queries that may return rows of data meeting (or not meeting) certain conditions (i.e., engines without a horsepower). The user may right-click on the data rows and edit assets from this window. (02/06/2014) Note: Contact an ACTS administrator to add data validation queries. 17 Equipment Adjusted containment calculation to sum equalized tanks for Largest Displacement variable (treats like a single tank, similar to how the Largest Capacity variable works). (04/21/2014) Added support for "Yes/No/Unknown" radio-button data type for Double Walled/Double Bottomed?, Elevated?, and Equalized? tank equipment attributes (previously "Y/N Checkbox") used for containment calculations (06/04/2014) Added Active and Inactive Dates to the Calculation Table (in Code Maintenance), so that only active calculations will be available in the dropdown of the Emission Calculation tab. This is used to show when data has been imported that does not fit properly into the operation columns (i.e., if the imported data is text instead of a number value). The requirement limit templates may be created in Code Maintenance using the Limit Template Type and Limit Template tables. When the user is in the Requirement Limit tab of the Regulation Window, they may right-click, then select Import Limits from a Template from the context menu.from there, they may select a template type and requirement limits will be loaded into the tab. 24 Added option to disable task generation when equipment isn t associated to a requirement. Previously, one task was generated for each associated piece of equipment; when equipment was not associated, one task was generated for each associated facility. This option disables task generation to facilities, when equipment associations are not present. (07/14/2014) To enable this regulation requirement setting, please contact an ACTS administrator. Updated requirement limit logic, so there may be two limits for the same compound with the same active date to allow for threshold requirement limit values (07/28/2014) Regulation Synchronization The Regulation Synchronization (RegSync) module uses SQL statements with logical conditions to determine if a piece of equipment is applicable to a list of requirements. If it is applicable to one or more requirements, a right-click context menu may be used to automatically associate the equipment to the list of requirements. Previously, if the association already existed, the RegSync module would create another identical association. Now, ACTS first determines if an active association exists. If it does exist, it won t create another one. Conversely, if the conditions were such that a piece of equipment should not be associated with a requirement, but it was, previously nothing would happen and the association would remain unchanged. Now, if equipment is not supposed to be associated, but it is, RegSync will remove that association. Page 24 ACTS 5.9 Release Notes
