2 About VDL VDL are dynamic participants in the field of Digital Audio Broadcasting and Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, both as a digital radio network provider and as a DAB/DAB +/DMB equipment manufacturer. VDL s business has developed through a combination of internal evolution and International expansion, bringing together a unique range of specialist skills and experience that are available to support the Company s three main business activities: FM broadcasting, digital broadcasting and digital equipment. Head-end Products for DAB, DAB+ and DMB Networks VDL s encoding, multiplexing and distribution products have been primarily developed for use on VDL s own digital radio networks and enhanced to meet the individual needs of our network operator customers in Europe and Asia. This means that our customers benefit from operational experience on a wide range of networks with DAB, DAB + DMB and data services. The result is a high-level of functionality, easeof-use, configuration control, reliability and remote maintenance.
